Like many people, I've dealt with Italian for years and they are a solid company.

OP it seems like your transaction got flagged by YOUR bank and they notified Italian it appeared to be a fraudulent charge. So your bank cancelled the transaction but maybe hasn't notified you yet.

So if you want to continue the transaction, Italian wants to get paid via EMT. Use the phone....

FLHT - the post is still there as of NOW. And the OP hasn't replied to anyone. Hoping he has called to clarify the issue. Busy on the phone ??

...do people really have these sorts of issues and NOT simply call?

Some people are SO convinced that they're being wronged by everyone at every turn that it seems like they almost want it to happen. Obviously NO investigating was done here, just default :runaway::ang

Thanks for the reminder; it's been a long time and I sometimes forget how much of a PITA dealing with some customers can be.

Give them a ring and figure it out. It can be as simple as calling your visa and telling them the charge is legit. I've had that happen before for other non-firearm purchases. No reason to throw out accusations without giving them a call.

This is offensive and stupid. There is no reason to call a retailer a scammer for something that sounds pretty simple. If you tried in any way shape or form to contact them instead of a public forum where thousands can see maybe you'd get a different response

You have a lot of growing up to do. Try that and then contact them directly, not a general forum for guns discussion

They have an account on here you could contact, there's email, phone, maybe more ways if you actually try, during open hours not on a holiday

Not that it's needed, but another vote of confidence for Italian Sporting Goods. I've dealt with them for more than 40 years and have always found them to be a good and honest source of guns and accessories. Good people to deal with.

The OP is ridiculous, but seeing is coming from that #### hole QC I am not surprised. Placing an order on a Friday, before the long weekend then expecting to receive replies immediately, even during the long weekend is ridiculous. Calling a legitimate business "scammers" on a public forum is ridiculous. I can see the OP wringing his hands all weekend long in despair. Really awful customer, nothing worse than a childish customer.

The least the OP needs to do immediately is to change the title of the thread and remove "scammers" label. Or shall we call it libel?

You are another Qc basher. There is plenty of people on CGN who behave like him with dealers. It does not matter were you are from or which Province you live.
Go back in your hole racist.

To be a racist, Quebec has to be a race. It's a province made up of all race. You mean prejudice?

Over the years there have been lots of scams, usually for high end optics, out of Quebec. If a credit card is flagged from there, as a store what's unreasonable about EMT? I'm thinking the difference in money is fees the business got hit for when the card was "flagged".

Hopefully it gets sorted out.

As others have said, call them. I haven't dealt with them in years as I switched to Reliable years ago, but they are definitely a solid company. No one there is going to scam you.

Chris.
