I have to admit, I've never shot a gopher with more than a .22, But I'm looking for some more toys for this shoot

I love shooting my HMR. I would never buy another one though. I can shoot my .204 for less money. HMR rounds are way too expensive.

I dont have one, but have seen a few up close and they are pretty zippy...like andrewe said though, a bit pricey!!

I love my 17 hmr... I know I compared prices of my hmr & a buddy that reloaded 223.. and it wasn't much different in cost....

That said, I just bought a .223

Well the first time I tried one on gophers ( I still don't own one... ) It took me a good ten minutes to stops giggling!

It's a ton of fun, but I don't wanna pay the price for a box of shells I can't reload. I

I had been considering a CZ in .17, but now I duno

While were at it... What 12ga load / choke configuration do you guys reccomend.. just bought my first shotty yest
Gonna have to stockpile a few flats

Sorry about the .17. I'll let you try mine though.

Last year I was using 2 3/4" #8 and a full choke. It worked plenty good. You could also try anything down to #5. Just get the cheap stuff from Walmart. Don't forget to remove the plug!
