I'm in for sure! I'll also have an unlicensed guest (so obviously only one of us will be shooting at a time, if that makes any difference in your count)

I hear that with the pandemic of swine flu, that there is a severe shortage of imported Limes and Lemons, due to new shipping regualtions.

Local producers are being strained to meet market demands.


I sure hope this doesnt affect Tripalm negatively in his search for Beverage Fruit!!
 
Hmmmm, last group "event" I attended was a "Girl-Drink Drunk Party" where everyone had to bring a piece of fruit suitable to drink out of (coconut, melon, etc). All night had to drink god-awful girl drinks out of that coconut. Great party but a hell of a hangover.

Want to make sure I have the appropriate kit for this. What's the usual equipment? Tequila, bourbon, beer, scotch, rum? What goes best with a small-bore rifle? :D;)
 
I just stick to MGD's.

Tripalm usually has Coronas with a Lime wedge...but that might not be possible this year do to the global shortage...Sorry Tripalm...better luck next year!
 
I will have to pass this year, had an opportunity to go to Cypress Hills for three days, got 2500 gophers in three days between two people with 22, 17 HMR and .223. Amazing time, a little cool but very sunny. The fields are full of gophers after about 3:30 PM. Good times and good people down there.

Unfortunately, and to my shame, I will be on the wrong end of Canada that weekend and can not be back in time. Very sorry guys, I can't attend.

I know I committed but something important came up. Next year tho.
Kinda sucks as I bought a new SPS V in 204 and CZ452 22lr for this occasion.

If not it'll be the .22's and .17hmr and a couple of 12's for the gophers that charge the firing position.....lol
 
I feel sorry for anything that tries to charge the firing position!! LOL!!

Just got back from one of my favourite sporting good store...bought 300 more brass, and cleaned them out of 32 grain Vmax!!
 
I,ve got a case of PMC 62 grainers but I am hoping to get a LONG range load worked up with the 500 80 grn Hornady's I have sitting on the bench
I am going to bring the Dlask 870 as well as my Berreta 1201 semi with me
 
I just loaded up a bunch of test rounds...some 32 gr Hornady Vmax and IMR4198, and some 32 gr Nosler Ballistic tips with IMR4198. Hopefully I can get to the range tomorrow to see how these perform...

My first test group with the IMR and 32gr Vmax was about .6" for a 5 shot at 100 yards!

If I can keep that up I will be very happy!! I am hoping the Vmax and Noslers are pretty much the same performance wise...that way I dont have to worry as much about brand preference!
 
I haven't actually loaded anything yet... Not a single round for the .22-250, or the 7mm-08...

I might have to do it strictly rim fire after all.

This is only a few weeks away now.
