I haven't been keeping up to date with this thread much (I know, shame on me..) and I really don't feel like reading through every post.. So if someone would be so kind as to summerize the important details, that would be great!

I will repost this part to keep it fresh in mind:
I want every attendee to be aware that they will be asked to read and sign a letter that basically constitutes these simple rules:

1.) There are to be no loaded weapons in camp. Upon entering camp, all shooters are asked to unload their firearms and open the action.
2.) All shooters must be aware of anybody downrange and keep their fire in safe directions at all times.
3.) The landowner has the right to dictate any and all actions that take place on his land. All in attendance must use respect and treat the property with it.
4.) We ask to keep all shooting near the camp restricted to rimfire and shot shell only, unless otherwise approved by us.
5.) We are not to be held liable in any form for any accidents or issues that may occur over the course of the weekend, or on the trip to or from the shoot.
6.) Unsafe firearms handling and violation of rules will not be tolerated. Anybody not following these rules may be asked to leave.
I don't want to sound anal, but it's very important that everyone follows all safety rules. I know I may be preaching to the choir, but I want every single person to have a good time, then go home safe. If anybody has any issues, feel free to PM me, otherwise the countdown is on, we're under the week and a half mark. Please be sure you have everything you will need for a primitive camping weekend. Bring food, warm clothes, rain gear, bug gear and anything else you will require to keep you happy. Toilet facilities are on site, bring your own paper. Again, we ask everyone brings a bundle of firewood, and the potluck Supper has been cancelled.

Sorry, I'm bringing my own snuggle partner!
Starting Friday, there will be a draw for the first 18 CGN members who show up. We have a few door prizes such as camping lanterns, CGN stickers, mosquito headnets and a gopher call. The first members to arrive will draw their prize out of a hat. Good luck to all.

The weather is looking like I will in the area thurs night, but will be going fishing on the friday first.. to keep the wife happy... she is not intrested in the shooting...
Now I still have to find a load for the 223... hope to have time for that this evening.. then load approx 200rnds up... plus pack, get the boat ready, and bear hunting wed night!

I sure didn't get much done this weekend. Too windy to go to range....get there Sunday an the range is closed for 3 gun match!
I just got back from a gopher hunt last weekend near Moosomin. It was the first time i've ever gone just for gopher what a blast, aside from the hangovers. With 4 of us shooting and perfect weather i would say we nailed 900 or a 1000. I killed one with a rock at 17 paces. Good luck to ya all.
