yikes! time is running out!

Is there anywhere local to go pick up firewood? My tiny car is going to be packed!! It isn't looking like there will be room for any firewood, so I'll probably have to come and un-pack, then run for some firewood.

Anyone know of any deals on ammo along the way? (Regina?) Fed 525s are running almost $25 a brick /w tax here.
I just picked up 2 bricks and 2 more packs for the shotty tonight, so that brings me up to 350 12ga, 1,000 7.62, and 4,000 ish .22.... wouldn't mind a few more bricks just to be safe ;)

Still not sure when were leaving. I want to leave thurs night, and drive thru the night. Or at the very least, leave early fri morning. But my friend isnt as enthusiastic

If anyone driving out from Winnipeg sees a tiny red car with a pro-gun bumper sticker dead on the side of the road, please stop :p

Last year both C2K and us were driving small cars loaded to the hilt. This year were bringing larger vehicles. I learned my lesson. :p

C2K said he didn't see any firewood on the way, but the town of Tompkins is your turn off to the farm. He figures there's some there. Canadian Tire sells it too.

I doubt tompkins will have any.

Gull lake to the East might, and you will find some somewhere in Swift Current.

Anybody unable to bring firewood, will just be in charge of chopping wood! Lol! :D

just need to load the guns and shaving kit into the 5th wheel in the morning and I am good to go........I am planning to be on the road by 7 am (pacific)

any body going that could pick me up a brick (500) of Hornady 17 Hmr will be paid in full and rewarded with a case of beer(your choice) would save me a stop at Russells (towing the trailer) ......shoot me a pm with your Cel# if you can and I'll bring the cash and Beer

Are we there yet?

Time to finish reloading and packing tonight, load the Jeep tomorrow morning, and off by noonish! Yay!

Fortunately, I'll be able to heat my tent with the glowing barrel of my overworked 22! :)

Heading out this afternoon to pick up the last of the groceries for the weekend - steaks, mushrooms and beer! Oh yeah...and limes for Tripalm! ;)

See you there!!!!

Rats! I need to make a decision...

Either I bring the Rhino which may simplify movement and will allow carrying of lots of ammunition and firearms from place to place, or I bring the generator, coffee maker, extra cooler, more water and firewood. Unless I go to the Big City tomorrow and buy a trailer to carry the Rhino there's just no way I can do both. :(

Ideas? Input? Last minute hints, tips or suggestions?
