Well, I'm sad to say that I'll have to sit this one out boys. :( Turns out I have a family function that I was just told about happening the same weekend. I was really looking forward to puttintg some faces to the screen names, but I'll hopefully get in on it next time.

On the bright side it opens up a spot for someone else, but don't thank me all at once. :)
 
Getting close to the time for a group prayer to the "Sun God" for good weather, might not want to mention the squeeks, I hear he's kind of partial to them:D
 
I saw a pickup truck today with a HUGE camper on the back, and first I thought it was Tripalm....but quickly I realized it was just some guy compensating for something!!

Jacquie's been talking about breaking in her new Tikka for weeks now. I've been busy collecting a few new rifles too. Mostly though I've been trying to find powder and primers. Tried getting some in Winnipeg, Fargo ND, and Las Vegas, NV and could not find a thing. Just this morning a coworker palmed me 200 small rifle primers which just might get things done. Anyone wanna mail me a ziplock bag full of Varget?

Since it's still snowing here once in a while I've not forgotten to honor the Saskatchewan weather gods every now and then. I suppose if it's going to be cold we could always start a fire with something. Any suggestions?

You could try bashaw sports for a few odds and ends!

I only have 1000 small rifle primers left, and 600 rounds to load! Eek! Finally found a decent load for my 204! 32gr vmax, and imr4198 gets me .6 inch average!


Can I use gas to start a fire?
 
you can add "bob" to the list, he's coming with me.(or i'm riding with him, something like that...) so when do the maps go out? i wann a google earth it.
 
I think I can find my way! Lol!!

I will be out there early June 5th or later on June 4th. Want to start getting things set up, and take my kids gopher shooting before too many people get there!

Btw, cell phones don't work out there very good!

Anybody who has them are invited to bring FRS radios
 
Tripalm brings up an interesting question. Is there anyone bringing a pickup with room that could pick up a few bundles extra and some without room could reimburse you for their share?

As there will probably be quite a few people with smaller cars who will be unable to bring enough firewood for the weekend, can I suggest that if anyone is bringing a truck that they throw on lots of extra firewood, I'd be happy to chip in to cover the cost when I get there
