My LGS grade 2 ( birch stock refurb) was $200 but he got a deal $180 for buying 50 or more! Edit, that was for a new order not here yet! I am hoping to dig through them for a gem or two, but as others have said, they are harder to come by!my wholesale price thismorning for grade 2 sks is 230$ so speculate all you want its here now buy up the old stock
Bought a 1500 rd crate from CT in Brandon last wknd, along with a few other, non-firearms items. Noticed (after I got home, of course...) that they didn't apply any ct money to the ammo purchase, just the non-firearms items. Didn't bother calling them about it...
Is this an individual store thing, or country wide?
Paid cash, $329 for the ammo itself. Corrosive. A bit more than I care to pay, but they are the closest source...
I bought a Super grade, unissued, blued, and nicely pinned for 170 with a 50 dollar promo card [219 total]at a can tire store on Van Island. They are out there with a little searching. They would only show me three and the other two were not nice. The display gun was bled, matching and unissued[I wouldn't let it go, once I got it handed to me] ,but the ones out back they handed me were BBQed, mismatched, parts guns.I think the last of the nice ones need to snapped up when they are found. We see these previous cheap finds in the EE for double the money.Just because an SKS can be bought cheap does not mean that it is a nice SKS . I have seen some BBQ paint junk out there in the last six months that I would not take home for any price .Hopefully folks are checking these rifles over before purchase , and are just not getting caught up in the hype .
Alright fellas who has the cheapest Russian sks right now?
May 11,2017 still on the lookout
Give yourself and your wallet a break and look locally. Anything you have to ship is going to cost and extra $30-$50 plus taxes on top of the purchase price with taxes. Often you can get a local shop to give you a 10% discount on a package for cash. If it has to go on a CC, get a cash advance from the bank and go with that in hand. Use your phone to call the shops locally available and find out the exact amount needed ahead of going to pick it up. To easy.
$200 for an all matching non-Frankenpinned mint blued 1956 at the gunshow last weekend. Came with 100 rounds on stripper clips to boot.
Shop local and you can find some good deals.
