China Made M4 Carbine

Yah Chinese were creative a thousand years ago. Funny the gun "designers" in China could simply copy anything from other countries and lie to the public "This is our design" straightfaced...something like T92 pistol sold by Lever Arms. Oh give me a break, I don't pay 600 bucks for a bootlegger.

But bootlegging is good too, at least I like it because I could get cheap guns and ammo.

Yes, A1 sight and no deflector... Interesting.

Man o man I distaste blatent copying... (*sliding my M14s to the back of the safe...) Wonder why they chose to copy (and issue if this isn't BS, looks ligit) the M4??? Strange...

Not strange to me, Norinco will not sell them in commercial market for sure.

A lot of countries is under US sanction so they can't get weapon from US, then Norinco can dump their low cost weapons to them. Get it?

i think everyone is creative, but if you have a rapid growing of anything (ie. economy, housing, people, etc), there is no room for creativity. what you need is FAST FOOD. get things done as quickly as possible and deliver to the hungry population. be there to take the largest possible market share. yes, it's all about MONEY. copying is the answer, for now.

copying is also the fastest way to learn. why your work experience is so important? obviously your employer knows you can bring the good things from your previous works and hopefully apply on your current job.

maybe decades later when people get fed up with the copies (and they will), the manufacturers will have to start thinking new strategies. by now, they have learned all the knowledge about other products (M4, HUMMER, sneakers, hamburger, whatever), and this is the beginning of evolution.

sounds familiar? it was JAPAN decades ago and now people seem to forget they COPIED, too. as they always said, "history repeats itself." how interesting.

okay, now back to the rifle. the CQ-311 was ALLOWED to be produced in a certain number. i haven't heard anything on the M4 yet. i think the M4 will likely to be available to you and me, because i know at least one canadian dealer has a demo already.

Likely they are “drill rifle” not uncommon in some countries looks spiffy and prevents disgruntled troops from shooting the boss (i.e. Sadat)

Well considering S & W just came out with their clone of the M16, I don’t see why the Chinese can’t. There is no shame in it, how many countries actually produce a genuine indigenous combat rifle? Most countries have always bought designs or guns from other countries. All of our firearms or their designs except for our new sniper rifle have come from elsewhere.

If the babes come with the rifle I want one!! I have to tell my wife that I have to keep the girl as she is an integral safety device and it would be illegal to remove it!! :D

Thanks for the education. But Chinese aren't Japanese. And if you cant design your own gun, that's fine. But if you copied someone else design and claimed as your own work, that's not fine. If you think Chinese can do that only because Japanese did it, that's a lookdown on yourself.

cheers,

The rifles in the pic with the soldiers look fake, just look at the screws in the mag walls and the buttstock attachement looks weird..

Considering this is their daily drill...
