Interesting picture. His SKS is a Yugoslavian one and the flag on his left sleeve is the one of Republika Srpska. An old warrior from the Balkan wars in the 1990's.
interesting . this is the first time i heard of Republika Srpska.
Same. And a bit off centre. Must be contracting the job out to CNIB.Just bought a French Tickler from Tenda. So disappointed the rivet is right through the serial number. Who’s pinning these things?!
my rivet is located an inch forward of the serial numbers. i cant believe they would screw up a near perfect SKS.Just bought a French Tickler from Tenda. So disappointed the rivet is right through the serial number. Who’s pinning these things?!
lol.Same. And a bit off centre. Must be contracting the job out to CNIB.
Pretty ridiculous honestly. What a shame.my rivet is located an inch forward of the serial numbers. i cant believe they would screw up a near perfect SKS.
lol.
Look on youtube for user "Triangle 26"So are all of these SKS whether French tickler or full wood factory 26 or has anyone received a different factory? I see the stock image for the jungle stock versions has a factory 606 stamp. I know the French tickler version is a factory 26 thing only but I’m curious if any of the all wood are different.
Yeah I know but I’m wondering if any of this batch are a different factory than 26.Look on youtube for user "Triangle 26"
He has tons of videos discussing SKS production in China.
I have read articles claiming while there is no real database, there are dozens of different factory markings on type 56 SKS. In the late 60's they moved SKS production away from factory 26 to have that factory concentrate on the Type 63/68.
thats incorrect. its the reverse, most countries have threaded. china has threaded and pinned.Never understood why only yugo sks had threaded barrels but none of the other sks did.
North Sylva Is there another shipment of these anticipated?
e###xcellentG4C should be receiving more in the next few days.
I think he means threaded muzzle not the breechthats incorrect. its the reverse, most countries have threaded. china has threaded and pinned.
you would still be wrong bcos the yugo actual muzzle are not threaded. yugo m59/66 and m59/66A1 has an adapter with a thread so why would he "never understood"?I think he means threaded muzzle not the breech
