Colt M4??

the charging handle on the s&w .22lr m4 works. i dunno about the umarex one.

how the cfc decideds weather a rifle is a variant seems to be a totally arbitrary process. There is no logic you can use to determine if these new rimfires will be classed as variants or not. The safest assumption is that these are black, and shaped like an evil new-age military gun.. so they will be restricted.

I just received all the parts to make a black 10/22 but would certainly buy one of these if they were NR. I've got about $1500 into the 10/22 so this would likely be cheaper.

your 10/22 will be accurate and tougher than hell.... it will last and not let you down...

the Umarex is untested and low quality...

whatch where you spend your money....

I am pretty sure that walther knows how to build a rifle. And last time i checked, the new 10/22's are all plastic and cheap metal as well...

Oh I know, just would buy it for the cool factor.
I have everything for the 10/22 but the reciever is locked in the post office, I can
see the package through the window but they are closed today. :(

Here is my quote from the other Colt thread. hehe

Methinks hfp75 doth protest too much. :rolleyes:I think he wants one so badly he is cutting these rifles down, in two different threads, because he's hoping that everyone else will give up on them. That way he is assured to get one (or two) when they finally arrive.
Go on, tell me I'm wrong hf, I dare ya.:p
These things are gonna rock!

I think yes these things will sell like crack, and colt will realize this, and start producing a lot of em.

The first batch of these guns will sell out quickly however, they will ship a lot more next time, and I might wait untill they work the kinks out, and price goes down a bit.

The only thing I hate about my Nordic build is when I have to do a complete tear down for a thorough clean...PITA is an understatement.

If this turns out to be non-restricted...there will definitely be one in my safe. :)

I was thinking some company needs to come out with a rimfire P90, there is now, M4, 522, and GSG all look a likes to fun guns of the centerfire variety. P90 with 50 rnd mags.

Actually, the real P90 carried 50 223 rounds, you could probably make it work in 22LR with at least a 100 round clip...

If they sell like crack, the next shipment will likely sell for more...

Actually the P90 carries 50 5.7*28mm cartridges. They are held sideways in a stick mag, perpendicular to the bore of the rifle. They are rotated into poisiton just before being fired. Just a friendly correction :p

I think you're a bit paranoid, if that we're true they'd be asking more for the m305's which would still sell at hundreds more than they're selling for now. Same as the Russian sks and many other firearms. It's hard to gouge these days when the online dealers keep the pressure on by offering low prices.

$800 for a restricted 22 AR knock off . I think I will pass & spend a couple hundred & get a 22 conversion kit .
And stay in the restricted class.
