Im not trying to be rude or misdirect this thread but your preatty much telling me Ive been breaking the law for the past 5 years so has hundreds of other people I play with including cops, and that paint ball feilds that host airsoft events are also breaking the law.
Not a problem. Misinformation is quite rampant on the Internets and sometimes people need to be set straight.
Seeing as this will become a discussion on airsoft which is not welcome on CGN and would also hijack this thread if you want to discuss with me in PM the proper legalities of prohibited devices, I am all ears.
Again, having done what I do for a living for the past 10 years, I am very familiar with importation laws, possession, application, use, effect, and interpretation of owing a prohibited airsoft device. I have consulted with other individuals, gun clubs, the CBSA directly, etc. on this subject ad nauseum. No offence to you but I don't care what other people do, have, own, use, or keep. I know what the law is and I know what can and cannot be possessed or imported in this area so as to minimize my already (an every other gun owners) antiquated and limited firearms ownership rights.
I have said this before here if you want to do something or own something that may impede, contradict, challenge, or antagonize either the law, the LE's or the CFO's, be my guest. Just don't make it a problem for me or other gun owners et al somewhere down the line. Do what you please, just don't pee on my parade.
