COMING SOON: Adler Arms RF224 11.7'' Shorty Tacticool 22 LR Rifle *Open for Backorder*

11.7 inches is an odd measurement... must be a metric thing.

BC has a silly hunting regulation that considers all barrels shorter then 12" as pistol barrels and not allowed for hunting.

Yup metric, just checked the synopsis, 305mm or 12" is the cutoff in B.C. Anything shorter is considered a handgun.

The Turks must have just decided 30cm was a nice round number.

It's pretty close. I bet if you put a flash hider on it no one would notice.

CO's will likely take interest in this model out in the bush and will whip out the tape measure. I've seen it done for a GSG-16 once. It's not worth the trouble to roll the dice on something like this.

I saw some other vendors having the option to order FDE or Grey. are you able to also get other colors? if so, will there be a price difference?

Only with respect to hunting regulations, while actively hunting.

You can run a shorter barrel on a non restricted as long as its not being used for hunting. I have seen countless 8-10" barrel 22s tat are completely legal and non restricted for target shoots

Isn't there a minimum OAL of 26" even on rimfire? I'm currently building a shorty 10/22. Dlask has an 8", 9", and 12.5" option. With my stock I need a minimum of 10.5" BL to achieve the 26 OAL. I thought I had to get the 12.5" to stay nr. Any advice on this or links to regulations/ clarity would be great.

Thanks guys

Correct it's a provincial hunting regulation, Gun laws are federal.

The min length requirment applies to all non restricted guns including rimfire.

There are a few non restricted guns that are a bit shorter then 26" but they come that way from the factory... in your case 26" (or what ever the actual metric number is) is the number your looking for.

Another strangeness is that muzzle devices can't be added to increase "the barrel length" but do count towards over all length.

I hope someone does a Range Review asap. The last ones/longer barrel do not have positive reports. With that, I'd prob still get one, with knowing it prob needs some tweaking/allot high velocity ran through for 'break in'.
