I respectfully disagree ... potheads come in all forms from professionals to blue collar and everything in between - far more diverse I think. No reason the Gun Community cannot somehow agree on more REALISTIC campaign like wilderness carry and some acceptable rules surrounding it. I'd rather have the gun community draft the proposal up than the government. An organized effort similar to that of Sensible BC with strong leadership and spokesperson could get alot of attention.

Your point is valid, but the degrees of what gun ownership might entail are too varied and layered.
Pot users just want to smoke pot, be able to grow it, buy it and sell it. That's pretty much the extent of that.
But legalizing guns, in every way, entails a great deal more.
There's no semi auto pot, there's no ccw for pot, there's no castle law concerning pot and there's no concern when you use it in self defence.
We have so many speed bumps to level that it really does not compare in terms of what must be overcome.
I still agree with you that it could be achieved.
I just don't know how.
