Looks like the NF have the magnification ranges and many reticles available without going crazy on price ,but I have never had the oportunity to look through one.
Give me a pm I can meet with so you can look through a NF.

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that the glass used in the Conquest line of scopes is made by Meopta and is of the same grade as Meopta's Meostar line. The glass quality of the Meostar scopes is also well regarded, especially for the price range, which seems to be in the same ballpark as Conquest scopes.
I was just wondering how much of a difference that others have noticed in the Zeiss lines..
Are you considering buying one over the other? I know you are a zeiss fan. I am as well. I have 6 diavaris and 5 conquests. The difference is noticeable in both clarity and cost. With that said the conquests have no equal in value. IMHO. I won't hesitate to buy either the conquest or another diavari. GOOD IS GOOD! But I think you already know that.
little off topic but I think my Swaro Z5 is clearer than my Nightforce
The new Swarovski scopes Z3/4i/5/6 are amazing - not that the older ones were shabby. Like I pointed out a few posts ago - I don't get all of the love for Conquest scopes given Plainsight Solutions' pricing on Swarovski scopes.
So what type of target/benchrest scope did you have in mind?
The popular high end ones used in competitions are ones like S&B's PM line, US Optics,Hensoldt, Nightforce, Leupold MK IV to name a few. For informal LR target shooting there are lots available in the Conquest line.
