CORE 15-U.S. made AR's

Nice mature response bear...
Excuse my ignorance, I am a newb. Can someone elaborate on why these are allowed 10 and any other firearms that can have 10? Why is this 10 and a SKS is only allowed 5?

bear.23 explained it already.

It matters what the mag was designed for, not what it's used in. Since there are AR pistols...........

Read the Firearms Act.

It was a very mature response..
I was gonna make it the wrong FLASH multiple colours and have it play na-na hey-hey but it wasn't worth the hassle.. You made a statement that was wrong and I didn't want anyone else to read it and take it as gospel..

If you want to come here and tout yourself as an expert you might want to grow a thicker skin when you find our you are wrong.. 2 minutes of research would have prevented you from making your error..

At 260 posts you are no longer a newb.. You should know better...

If you noticed, I stated "I think you're wrong" to the guy. And certainly did not mean to come across as someone claiming to be any kind of expert. By newb I mean towards my understanding of certain rules and regs. I'm sure Wanstalls doesn't want this negativity eating up there ad. So hopefully to end this I will say Thank you for your help bear, have a great day.

Knowing this thing can handle 10 rounds per mag makes it a lil more appealing.

A lot of complaining in this thread. Strange considering how much complaining I see about the lack of products available to us Canadians.

I would just like to say thanks to Wanstalls. These rifles look amazing and I can't wait to get my hands on one.

I've had a lot of PM's and phone calls regarding the advantages of Piston over Direct Impingement or Gas....

Here's a breakdown of the ADAMS ARMS piston kit via youtube: (full auto version)

Basically the advantages are:

-free flowing piston allows for incredible accuracy
-gas diverted away from operator
-self cleaning as the sleeve scrapes the carbon of the plug
-increased reliability as piston rides straight back with no downward push

Here it is on our CORE 15 rifles...

There ya go...

There are a lot of people on here that love to be jerks man. We can't all be PERFECT !!!

Hmm, let's see an American made ar from a company with military contracts or a nea with mystery parts from a country that shall not be named

You'd rather have a base-model bare bones US made AR from a company called "Good Time Outdoors" that makes Airboats than a Canadian - Made Billet AR with quad rail and lifetime warranty (including the barrel!) from a company that makes Aircraft? While I respect a manufacturers choice to not reveal their sub contractors - CORE has chosen to use DPMS parts kits which is quite publicly known to be made in mainland China. I think I have heard that NEA also has military contracts. So all things being "un"equal - I know where my money is going. My only concern is that I can't keep my hard earned money here in BC. Frankly I think Wanstalls dropped the ball on this one, I had hoped that they would have chosen to support a Canadian Company.

I guess I don't understand the argument.

Built with mating upper and lower.. so other uppers and lower might not fit....
I have one lower and 5 upper, they all fit... for military use.. it should all fit and mix-match... that's the whole point of being mil-spec... field replacement...

There are no parts made from DPMS parts kits as all CORE-15 components as mentioned previously, are made in the USA. If you have any questions about the validity of the information you read online by third parties, please give us a call and we'd be happy to discuss them in more detail...

Thanks
