Corwin M44's

Funny I put a new old stock Polish M44 up in the EE a wile ago & never had one PM .
Not even a lowball offer
lol

It seems lately that if you are selling a genuinely good firearm for a realistic price, everyone avoids you like the plague? no "ebola" yeah that's better. Anyway, if you have a hunk of schit and are asking too much, someone will buy it. If you have your average gun that is way too expensive, someone will offer you a price that is reasonable.

Welcome to the current exchange forums, I'm losing interesting in dealing and quickly.

I put a wanted to buy add in EE for an new polish m44.. and got a response within 3 hrs.. and it was a done deal.

Truth be told I could care less if I sell it or not .
Whats funny is there was a thread with a guy showing off his new M44 (same as I have )
There were lot's of guys posting how they wish they could find one & would snap one up .
So I put one up for a decent price . Of course I realize 90 % of the people making posts like Shut Up & Take My Money are full of shiet but anyway enough of that .
For someone looking for a good refurb shooter Corwin has some of the best ;)

I wouldn't want a safe queen unfired M44. That's like buying a Jeep and parking it in the garage forever.

I ordered it Friday, it arrived Tuesday. Nicely boxed, with all the accessories it should have. Thank you Corwin Arms for the fast, worry free service!
Now, on to the gun. 1944 Izhevsk. Its in a laminate stock, bolt is in the white and the other metal has a black painted finish, not quite the same as Russian BBQ. Bore looks shiny with great rifling, couldn't get a pic of it though. Polish markings are shown. Have a look at the butt, I've seen a lot of SKS hardwood stocks finished this way, but not a laminate before. It looks to me like the stock was completed this way, not repaired. Its an excellent job, anyway. Can't wait to shoot it! It was free of cosmo, I will run some patches down the pipe and a rag over the outside, that's all it will need.

THat is correct. Stock were made that way to use less materials and smaller Blanks of wood. Hardwood stock are done in the same manner

Yes but this should have been unneeded with the laminates as they already were using smaller pices to make the laminates. Obviously the stock was damaged or was produced with a flaw that was cut out and repaired. First time I have seen that though on a laminate.

My M44 has the same stock and I wondered if it had been repaired but seeing another with the same toe makes me feel that is the way they were made

Great looking rifle. Thanks for posting. The Polish marks are quite subdued, I was worried they may have over stamped the shank and cluttered up the manufacturer markings. Laminate stocks are typically pretty consistent, yours looks right in line with others we've seen. Even on SKS' and 91/30's.

I thought the same thing. It looks and feels exactly like a laminated sks stock. Wouldn't be surprised if it was cut from the same laminates as the sks refurb stocks.

My order for one of these beuts (brutes) has finally been placed!

Beuts definitely... Also brutes... You will love it, oh yes, you will...

Janky video my buddy took of me playing with my M44 and SVT at the range a little over a week ago...
