Just bought my second FAKE Reupold scope the other day. I'm mounting it on my dedicated M700 Earth pig gun which is a .223! Cost me $ 110 landed here. I would not tell anyone to rush out and buy one, but frankly when you drop $ 100ish on ANY Tasco or Bushnell, you cannot help but discover that it is made in China and the internals are exactly what you pay for.
So.... in keeping with my advice: Don't buy ONE, buy TWO of them.... I now have taken my own advice
ha ha ha
Hey! For a hundred bucks, I've got a scope that will survive the rigors of groundhog hunting (always sunny weather). This scope does not need adjusting once I establish my 100 yard/m zero. AND finally, I've got a left side (portside) focus knob for the in close 30 to 50 yard shots, that focus knob is something I cannot find in a $ 100ish Bushy or Tasco.
And I do have a Bushnell Elite 3200 10 x 40 Mildot that I bought for $ 200, this scope is on top of my sniper rig that I'm going to shoot at the NSCC Nationals this August... Honestly, I don't feel out gunned, not next to all those NightForce, US Optics and Mark4 mounted rigs!
Buy what works for YOU and yer budget, and also your needs and your comfort level, oh yeah, also yer LCV (look cool value)

Cheers,
Barney
