Are BlockII M4A1s cool to post here?
I presume you got it from IRG when they brought them in a couple years ago? How much did they cost back then if you dont mind me asking?Peq 15

So was thinking about building a Mod 0 style upper, but it seems like a complete pain in the #### to get the KAC rail. Are these still in such huge demand?
A few years ago, the M5 RAS for full lenth rifle were a dime a dozen, easily had on ebay for $60-80 USD (P&S contract). Now even those are busting $125 USD.
I figured with the advent of free float rail systems, these would be easy to get, but they seem even scarce on ebay.

Iam holding onto mine because ever since i switched to the DD rail i miss the old mod 0 setup... Or maybe a block 1 14.5 to go with the shorty..

Interesting, figured the weight dif wouldn't be that noticeable.

I know how you feel i have been looking for a gen1 lmt sopmod for a while and no luck finding one at a decent price.

I got lucky on an old LMT stock last year, but I see the supply on cheap used ones has sort of dried up as well. The B5 stock seems like a decent alternative, not overpriced last time I checked.
Still baffled about the KAC rail. $350 in EE....fuk.
B5 is ok but it is a gen2 style stock with the integrated qd sockets wich is "not clone correct", the gen 1 lmt (or b5) is the correct stock. It really all depends how far one is willing to take this clone madness

I had to take a huge hit when I sold mine a couple of years ago... Nobody wanted one or even wanted to pay anything for them, apparently. I still have PTSD about it.

Haha, I'm not sure I "need" an authentic LMT gen 1 stock, though it's nice to have.
Finding a suitable replacement for the KAC is a total PITA though. I may take you up on that trade and find myself a b5 to replace my LMT
