Were the Surefire m951 weapon lights ever used on the block 2 carbines or were they only ever used on the Mod 0? I’ve got an in on a fairly cheap 951 and wondering if I should go for it.....
You never know what guys put on their weapons while deployed, so anything is possible. But as an issued system the block 2 are seen with SU233 (M3X), or surefire 600 series scout lights.

Thanks dude. I’ve seen insight m3x, insight wmx200 and for Surefire I wasn’t sure. Lots of people seem to toss the M300 Scout but I’ve never seen a 600 or as I’m asking, the m951.

Sweet Jebus, ive seen those Insights sell for 600 USD. Like seriously stupid. No way I could justify that price even if I had that amount of money for a light I would never actually use...LOL..... If i really wanted it for looks, id just go with an airsoft clone for 100$.

Finally got all the parts for my new upper. I'm sure a Colt lower will follow soon enough but anyways here are the specs for my "f$ck FDE MK18"
-Colt C marked upper
-Colt C marked BCG (brand new and still had the white dot)
-PRI gas buster CH
-KAC M4QD flash hider
-DD 10.3 barrel
-DD Ris2 black

Well I do have a complete DD mk18 with the FDE ris2....but it has black furniture. Lol
As for lights, I’ve got the Surefire scout that I bought for this build, however my DD mk18 has an insight m3x......since the DD is more modernized (raptor CH, surefire war comp and warden, Ambi selector) I’m thinking of tossing the surefire m600 with a spare cloud defensive pressure pad mount on the DD and taking the m3x and using it on this new upper.

Finally finished putting together my new upper.
And here it is attached to my existing DDmk18 lower. Just waiting on a colt m4 marked lower to pop up on the EE! Oh and the KAC suppressor is a FAKE airsoft copy only that does not suppress sound and is NOT suitable for actual live fire. Photos only.
