Bolt bent in two spots? or receiver bent in two spots?

That's so strange...

Just like my message says and I use “ , “ to separate things…one has the bolt 100% locked in the receiver, one has the gas tube bent in 2 spots and one has a broken trigger and a loose/knocked outta place gas block

Would you please clarify.. Bolt 100% locked in receiver... The bolt carrier is frozen in the receiver and cannot reciprocate? Gas tube bent in two spots... Gas tubes are bent in two spots - they aren't straight. Loose/knocked outta place gas block... Are these cross pinned or clamped or set screwed?
Are you a business?

Ah. I see now.

I did notice that my gas block looks like it’s got Allen key bolts.

I would have preferred a pinned on block.

I could be wrong tho.

Maybe I’ll buy some trigger repair parts, I need some anyways.

The bolt will not come out of the receiver/buffer tube…even mortaring it wouldn’t fix it

The gas tube is bent, as in kinked, badly, in two spots

These are assembled with the cheapest parts, as quickly and poorly as possible…get a blank upper and lower and build your own with care and quality parts

I think a lot of folks have sets of quality parts tied up in unusable ARs. I know I do, having made up rifles to use in Service Rifle competition -dependable rifles capable of minute and a half accuracy.
Using these parts to set up a rifle using the Crypto system makes a lot of sense, assuming that the upper, lower and magazines are serviceable.

There was another one, but I was incognito and can't find it. He was having tons of feeding issues and thought it was the mag, but it was a poorly installed/damaged gas tube.
This thread says nothing about issues, probably it was the other one.
For instance if the liberal government banned this gun but let us owners keep them I would feel bad for all of you that don’t have one. Feels just like an AR even more so than a Raven. But you do you I guess haha whatever makes you guys happy
I like the idea of Crypto, and strongly considering it, but your argument is a bit strange. We already have tons of banned stuff in our safes, including AR15s. What is the difference between banned AR15 in the safe and banned Crypto in the safe? Proven reliability and quality of my S&W AR15 and $0 more to spend.

There was a time where past governments banned rifles but still allowed their use. Pretty much like what happened with handguns in Canada. The liberals could have taken that approach with the first OIC. But they did not. In the future if they ban another rifle like the crypto for instance it may not become a safe queen. They may prohibit it for sale but you would still be able to use it like handguns for instance. That was my point.

Put 100 rounds through a 2nd example without issue this past weekend.

Figured I would share.
That’s a pretty standard experience. The only issue is with the bolt not locking back when using certain magazines. I feel like people are hating on this rifle because of the crux and Templar track record. But this rifle is a winner in my books

Bolt locked back every time.

A few of the mags don't drop free.

Was able to insert on a closed bolt, too. But required firm insertion for success.

The rounds fall out of the lower mag if you load both sides at once. Kinda lame but I am appreciating the length of the double ended mags for reloads.

Talked to a guy at the range, he ran 200 rounds of PMC bronze out of Pmags. Zero failure to feed if loaded with bolt locked back. If the mag was inserted on a closed bolt it would have FTF. Overall he was happy. Considering picking one up myself, everyone who has shot one seems to have good reviews. Some hearsay in this thread about junk rifles, but truthfully I am doubtful of these claims

The receiver sets themselves should be fine, issues arise when companys cut costs using cheap parts like ncstar, tna and other chinese garbage. Id plan to build them out as ive always loved the ar10 platform but stags are gone
I love how TNA handguards can be purchased from Temu for fifty bucks
