They are compensating your dealer. Whoever it is you buy from. They are buying the guns that they banned. I don’t like it but a lot of those guys can’t survive without the compensation

If a 3rd party came up with a pricing scheme, then that pricing scheme could be fought/argued against, then it could have been pushed to another 3rd party to come up with another pricing list, that would again be pushed back against, and thus pushing the confiscation further and further back, until we hopefully have a change in government. Now the CSAAA has fast-tracked confiscation and took away any argument against the pricing scheme, since it was the "industry" that created the pricing scheme. Smooth brain thinking.

Plus all of these individuals should have known that the slimly Liberals would act slimly and use this as justification for confiscation.

I was told Medicino's framing of this in his presser was to get CSAAA to say they weren't working with the government to lay the groundwork for the NDP to introduce a very anti-industry amendment to C-21 coming later this week. Have you heard anything?

The $700K isn't going to the dealers. And it isn't buying any guns.
It's purchasing CSAAA partnering with the government to endorse and help launch their confiscation program.

Retailers are sitting on multiple tens to multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not more, in stock they can't sell. Bigger companies may be able to weather the storm and sit on it. The smaller ones can't. And if they don't get liquidity, they will most likely go out of business.

"Just export them to the US" is not an option. Once they leave the US the government won't let them back in.

There is another dealer and sponsor of this forum who is also the president or whatever of csaaa. He was the one who went on the news and said “we don’t want to but we’re making a deal to compensate our dealer/members”. Ryan started this thread by saying he is leaving the organization because of the thing, this should earn anyones respect.
 
Saw SFRC on the board of directors list and (as a regular customer) was initially quite disappointed. Glad you made the right call to not support these Liberal measures. Hopefully the guy at Wolverine Supplies makes a similar decision.

Why does it even matter if you don’t click the “donate” button at checkout. Support the orgs you like and not the ones you don’t. That was the whole point of this thread I think.
 
Liberals usual plan to drive a wedge into the firearm owners community has seemed to work again. Instead of Fudds they have everyone attacking and boycotting businesses that support and supply us. I’ll still support you Ryan. Im just over in Sydenham. With out your shop being where it is I’d never have the collection I have.
 
It's part of the plan. CSAAA will be forced to take a stand. If with guns owners Marco will paint them as evil baby killers to pass NPD style amendments targetting the industry. Just watch.

They're going to pass whatever garbage they want..why should CSAAA give them assistance and a photo op before hand?.
Now it looks like a gun owners organization is inside and makes great headlines to fuq the rest of is.. FUQ CSAAA and anyone apologizing for them .
