Considering the steps to qualify and them making no statement of it being anywhere but CGN… and I’m sure it’s safe to assume if they did advertise it everywhere they would have just said that rather than deleting every thread that had anything to do with the misery boxes.
I can’t figure out why so many firearms businesses in this country are so ####ing shady and cheap.
There’s no way offloading that garbage in mystery boxes was worth the bad press but doubling down with a damn near fake contest is the icing on the cake.
At this point I wouldn’t at all be surprised if the one person on CGN that did win was an employee or personal friend of theirs… if I were a betting man… but I’m not..

I just wanted to see what everyone else got. THE DOUBLE SHOVEL boxes were peak. I was kind of shocked we got the EXACT SAME items. If I got unique useful items that I could actually use at the range, I wouldn't have been nearly as upset. Only decent item was the headset.

Convenient how they're just starting to pile in here now. Almost like there's a sudden need to backfill a freshly dug hole. Perhaps with a handy dandy folding shovel or two.
Tenda is great if your buying something from them but don’t expect any customer service or after sale help if you need it
They have a great selection and “usually” the best prices (but not always,they like to inflate the retail price before a sale to give you the illusion your getting a good deal, but to be fair other stores do the same) so keep that in mind when shopping there
They are one of the best outlets to buy bulk ammo from though
If after sale support is important to you I suggest shopping elsewhere

I remember Tradex doing a mystery box thing years ago and you got some pretty cool stuff although it was mostly milsurp stuff
If Tenda does a mystery box in the future hopefully they learned from this experience

That's not what a contest is. All of the relevant items pertaining to actual shooting in the mystery box were fine. Putting TWO ENTRENCHING TOOLS in a mystery box as a firearms retailer advertising on a firearms forum and deleting the original post is a little shady. Didn't even leave the post up for buyers to share what they got.
