CZ 600 Alpha 7.62x39 CGN promo - $354 discount + free ship!

Picked mine up today.
I have to admit that the online photos don’t do the rifle justice. Almost had buyers remorse after I purchased. However, I am more than thrilled with it. Rifle looks and feels great. I really like the functions and the build quality. The rifle points very nice and the magazine system is great.

Now! What optic do you guys recommend I put on this fantastic little rifle?

Optics depends on what your main use is, but with built in pic mounts your choices range from a micro red dot on the front rail for an ultra light weight fast aiming "dot on the spot" system, to perhaps a Low Power Variable 1-8 or 1-10 with your recticle of choice once again depending on use case. You could even put a higher power target or varmint type scope just to help chase groups at the range but at the end of the day something compact and lightweight makes the most sense to me.... :)

9.3 Hunter, nice pics! Question, the rifle seems nice & compact from your pics... So I have a question...

I had another look & I have 3 scopes that I could put on this...

Bushnell Engage 3-9x40
Bushnell Elite 3200 2-7x32
Leupold Vari X 1.5-5x20

I was leaning towards the 3-9x40 but now the 2-7x32 might be a better fit if it's a more compact rifle? What do you think?
I think the 2x7 .... I had this 1x8 on the shelf so used it. But if I was buying a scope for it, I'd put a 2x7... use it for stuff

Mine arrived and I have to say, I am totally smitten! A very hearty THANK YOU to Nechako Outdoors for the smoking deal on this lovely rifle!

First impressions: (1) it's such a nice compact rifle, (2) it's light, (3) I like the bolt handle, (4) I'm not sure what to make of the safety lol, I guess I'll get used to it?

I test fit both scopes I had on hand, the 3-9x40 and the 2-7x32... And the 2-7x32 just 'looks right' on this handy little rifle, so that's what I mounted using the medium height Weaver Grand Slam steel rings I had.

Here's a couple pics...

With the Bushnell Engage 3-9x40 test fitted... Wasn't 'feeling it' with this scope lol.

Looking good Jay!

The safety is different for sure, I like that it's easy to see and feel when in the engaged position and that it can be released using the thumb and second finger working together to do it quietly.... :)

I'm digging the magazine lock, it's a cool feature!

And the more I handle this rifle, the more I'm glad I didn't go with a Howa 1500 package that I was eyeing...

You're not kidding about the handling. It's grown on me a lot since I picked mine up. It feels great in the hands. I've spent a lot of time just fiddling with it. The ejection is weird and takes some getting used to. But as long as you're forcefully pulling your bolt back, spent casings (or snap caps in my case) eject just fine.

I'm waiting on some rings and a scope to show up in the mail but I should be able to get mine out the weekend after next. If it's a shooter, it'll be competing for my attention against my stainless T3x in .223 this fall for an all around hunting rifle.

Alright, let’s talk ammo! This is what I have on hand…

Not sure when I can make it to the range, but hoping one of these prints well & I'll carry the CZ 600 in the fall for deer.

Hornady SST (Steel cases)
Sellier & Bellot brass (Brass cases)
ChinaSports (Steel cases)
