Cz 858-2

Those a$$holes at the RCMP do whatever they want with no one to answer to. If they think the cz858 looks enough like an AK they will prohib it and call it an ak variant. Look at what they did with the AP-80. Not even remotely close to an AK except or the looks.

And if the RCMP show up and gave you 30 days to comply and hand the gun over or risk being charged with prohibited weapons offenses you'll be starting a new thread and doing lot's of whining. :rolleyes:
 
Well since this thread is still going, here is what is going to happen... NOTHING.
No change in the status, no confiscations, & no more $ spent on the matter from the government. All they have to do is not allow anymore shipments in. (which has already happened)
Same with the Swiss Arms... NOTHING.
Further importation of these models will be prohibited to import but not own just like what the U.S. did back in the 90's. The guys there that were lucky enough to have bought a SIG 550 for example
(Swiss Arms Classic Green) just saw their rifle skyrocket in value as no further importation of the firearm was allowed.
Case closed
I'm not going to worry one bit. I'm just going to have fun with my CZ & Swiss and watch the value go up while I'm doing it!

actually I wouldn't......I would deal with the situation unlike some gun owners in Canada. I look to our American cousins as an example

x2 When the storm comes it won't be just the VZ or CSA It will be more guns then we thought. I might be wrong ( God I Hope) but i help more people at work to get there license. Lets get more shooters out there and prove that gun owners are good people. I have put more smiles on a face. Young and old. Shooting at a range. If your not a hunter. Just like to shoot paper, Get the guns in peoples arms. Good people are not the problem. We need numbers to help keep our shooting sport. This a problem with our system too many antis. We constantly bring up these issues, I own the firearms that might be reclassified. Just like you all we paid, rejistered our firearms and we are bad people and victims. This is a problem that,Us as gun owners will forever be threatend of reclassification. It will never end. So what do we do? Whine. Like I said it will never end. i like to hunt and shoot. But FCK me every so often this #### starts about reclassification, It will never end My .02

Amen to that, exactly how I feel. Numbers is our strength. I to have put ear to eat grins on peoples faces that Ive taken to the range with me. People that before meeting me didn't even know you could own "black" guns in Canada. The more people we convert the better. Once people try it and understand firearms they won't be scared of them and won't be going on meaningless witch hunts anymore

half of the posts are actually from you, seems like you enjoy this thread more then anyone :D Did the range close? And the "Come and take" is an awesome quote and all that, but when did they change the laws in America and they actually fought against it? For gods sake , the M14 archangel stock is illegal to own in California due to the pistol grip law lol. I am with with you, my signature says it as well, but I would never say "Like my American cousins" As they have not done such a great job of fighting for their gun rights, more and more are being stripped from them. With more to come no doubt.

I wouldn't group all American states Gun Rights with California, probably the most strict in the union. I can look across the Detroit River where they can have Open Carry, CCW, no mag limits... etc. Not to mention the now famous "Stand your Ground" law.

This thread is about the CZ858 rifle, in which there is no concrete evidence of being prohib. Lets wait until there is an announcement of some sort before we start whining. There very well may never be one.

I do not wish to add fuel to the fire but for the record:
I have had no communication from the RCMP reference my last two shipments of CZ858 rifles. CBSA detained (seized) my shipments and based on an RCMP examination and report from the RCMP to CBSA they (CBSA) informed me they were prohibited. Almost a year later I have been unable to obtain any report on my rifles, even through the access to information.

Yeah, dont group them all together as in "Like my American cousins, come and take it"

There are other states too that have had some major law changes, that one law is just my favorite, no pistol grips and no fore grips lol. Not a real "come and take it" Attitude there. That said, Cali is a "Stand your ground" State as well.
 
What a crock of ####The RCMP and CBSA = total incompetence. If you really want one then go to down town T.O im sure they are selling them from the truck of a car by folks who are illegal immigrants.

But the RCMP and CBSA are busy these days giving businesses the run around over WELL their not saying.
