CZ 858 Accessories, Thinking about manufacturing them here, Any interest?

The AK74 brake, an actual one, is extremely effective at taming recoil and muzzle flip.

If you are so worried about the guy shooting next to you that it effects what brakes you use, I suggest you look into another sport. Perhaps knitting.

I wouldn't be worried about the guy next to me at all. I am super interested in the 74 brake now! :)

the ak74 style is one of the best to use, i would just copy that if i were you.
Just be careful when making your parts you dont copy somthing that has a patern pending or copyright, may find yourself getting sued.
I just had to send a letter to someone myself about such an issue with some items my company has coming onto the market.

I once saw a picture of someone shooting a 5.45 AK-74 with the butt on his face. He survived.

Do you know if there's an ak74 style brake for the ak47? Those vids were impressive.

I own a full auto type 3 milled receiver AK47 (not in this country though!) and I'd love one of those brakes. The thing wanders around by about the 5th round no matter how strong or big you are.

Just got an idea.

John, would it be possible to make a broader, flatter trigger? I don't particularly like the skinny little trigger. Feels like I'm pulling on a piece of wire or a bent nail...

One step at a time buddy! Lets focus on the scope mounts, brakes and mag releases! We are having a tough enough time bickering about what each of those should be. :p

Besides...why would you want a fatter trigger? This aint an Anschutz...its a milsurp rifle!

So the slant is the best for rise...but doesnt help with much else.
The krinkov looks like a waste of time unless you are looking for a flash hiding brake.
The 74 brake seems like the best one to me then. The ports on the top of the brake near the back are what compensates for the rise then? The fact it splits the flash doesnt really matter to me...though I can envision it being a definite plus on the LCF.

In case you are too lazy to check Deckards link, heres the pic:

Hard to say. The Marstar is totally effective, but I like the 74 look. And there are different 74 patterns. This one with forward vents works well.

I checked that site, it says "For Barrels threaded 14mm x 1 Left Hand. US MADE"

Isn't that the threading on the VZ rifles as well?

Does the scout mount not allow the hand guard to be removed with the scope mount on? That seems kinda dumb? I think it could be redesigned.
Please let me know. I am starting to think the 870 mount is the way to go.

No, the rail must be removed to remove the handguard. Pisses me off to no end. My zero always wanders about 4" at 100 yards when I replace it.
