That is some awesome work dude!!!!!!!!!!

I too hope that it still comes with the factory irons.

Norinco is providing you with chrome lined barrel because they made those rifles by the millions, 50 years ago, to arm the peons and take over the world. if you would want to produce the same sks today you would be paying easy 1000$ for one....
I disagree, I think if the 958 is going to come in 762x39 then it would be better to have a chrome lined barrel as it significantly reduces the chances of corroding your barrel if you use corrosive ammo. Not everyone is able to clean their rifle right away after shooting and corrosive ammo can mess up a barrel pretty fast. Whatever the added cost of a chrome lined barrel will be I'm sure will save money in the long run buying corrosive ammo instead of non-corrosive 762x39, which is getting very expensive. Plus Norinco is able to provide a chrome lined barrel on their SKS without any added cost so why can't CZ?

If the rear sight block is railed and fixed, that would be a wonderful hold zero point for a red dot.

As long as it takes VZ-58 mags and has iron sights as well as the rail I'm in for one. Chrome bore doesn't matter to me.

I don't care if it is chrome or not. My CZ858 just keeps chugging along. No chrome there. Accuracy is way better than a 7.62x39 should be.

On one hand, we canucks tend to be cheap when it comes to firearms. On here you'll hear complaints about a $200 sks as being expensive. So trying to hit a $750 price point makes sense. On the other hand, when chrome lined 58s come up for sale on here, they seem to sell out very quickly. Would it be unprofitable to offer chrome lined barrels for a higher priced option? Last i checked the Slovak's still use the 58 as a standard issue rifle, so would chrome lined barrels be all that expensive? Although surplus Slovak barrels would only come in restricted lengths. All told, I'd be willing to pay more for non restricted chrome barrels.

You only hear the complaints from the cheap people, or maybe, those who aren't suckers. People who aren't cheap, or are suckers, don't say a thing, they just whip out the credit cards.
