That would be sweet
Oooho... nice, one can dream.

I don't care if it is chrome or not. My CZ858 just keeps chugging along. No chrome there. Accuracy is way better than a 7.62x39 should be.
Been watching this thread and other threads to do with the 858. Mr. Wolverine will have a huge seller with the new receiver design! Looks as if the 858 has become quite a hot item! Ive heard that yet another imbound shipment of 858's, this time with an American made receiver were seized for "inspection" by customs. Seems that the 858 has become a target of the beurocrats. I hope this newly redesigned receiver works out for the best! Thanks Mr. Wolverine for your innovative thinking and many contributions to the community.
Off tangent thought....be nice if someone could devise a extended front handguard or something to facilitate a more hand forward shooting grip.
this would be more doable if there was a bigger market (ie: the usa) to make it economical to buy you need proper custom extrusions which require a minimum tonage ordered. or you machine out of billet and its way to expensive to most people
You are correct and I realize that. I may try some ghetto fab ideas to try and make something. Worse case scenario I'll wear an asbestos oven mitt.![]()

Is it possible for any new updates to this from you guys to be put in the title? something like ***Updated Post #...*** when an update comes i dont want to search through the drivel to find it haha
I can't believe I missed this thread, anyway I'd be fine with nitrocarburizing if chrome isn't an option.
Personally I'd rather see rifle like this come with all the goodies instead of being built strictly to a price. We have lots of SKS' for people for price point buyers but not much is available in this market as far as nonrestricted modern rifles that don't cost $2500+.
Good idea, why don't I call this thread "Teaser # 1" and start a new thread "Teaser # 2" when I have new info to release?
