CZ Bren 2 MS Drop-In Barrel Parts Question...

We haven't decided yet. If we don't but this is important to you it is possible to simply send the barrel in yourself for Nitride.
I would strongly suggest you opt for it. The value of nitriding on your end vastly outweighs the small incremental cost that was mentioned earlier. Given that you are charging $500 for a gas block and trunnion, and $650 for an NR conversion, plus whatever the ancillary parts cost (piston, spring, regulator, etc), I am guessing these barrels are not going to be cheap. The mentioned ~$50 change for nitriding, and the enhanced barrel life that brings, is a huge bonus for something that is already slated to be quite expensive.

Not sure where you got $50 from. I said it would be AT LEAST $80-$100 for the Nitride but it isn't just the cost, it also changes the process of how we make them and that is much more time consuming because once the barrel has been Nitride finished that's it, you cannot modify it at all so it needs to be PERFECT.

As I mentioned, if we decide not to Nitride them but it is important to you personally then just take it off the gun and have it done yourself. Lots of people do this, just as some folks send parts for Cerakote.

Sorry, misremembered the number. $80 to $100 was the number previously mentioned. Even still, these are going to be what, $1000-$1300 ish? I would happily pay the extra ~10% for it to be nitrided. Unless you have a better source, after shipping and services, it would likely cost upwards of 25% extra to have to done after the fact.

Excitedly waiting for the new piston and regulator to be ready before sending in my barrel!

I had my NR conversion out yesterday making the final preps for an upcoming 600 yard competition. I have her holding 0.75Moa using 75gr berger VLD's loaded 0.005" back from jam over a heavy charge of Varget (~2690 fps). The load is too long for mag loading, but shut off the gas regulator and treat it like a single shot and she can perform pretty well.

Thanks for supporting the Bren platform!

Just have a question about this thread. It started out as just gas blocks/trunnions (got one installed by DLASK on a 16'' barrel, it is awesome).
Is there now going to be complete barrels available for sale with the gas block and trunnion installed?
If this is the case what are the lengths and calibers? I'd love a 18.5" 5.56 or .223 Wylde. Credit card at the ready.

Definitely interested for possibly a couple. Also looking for the non-restricted conversion for my 11in when you get the parts in.... I'll drive it there if need be. Anyways doing gods work Dlask.

This ! Finding a positive review of real world shooting always breaks my ugly mug into a grin. Thank you for that brother.

This right here encapsulates the absurdity of our gun laws. Not even the crimped mag can save you now lol.

Yeah, it truly does. But, while the Lib-Tard Timbits run the show for now we should be keeping any and all things like this under wraps so they have less ammo to parade to the Woke-Childless-Cat-Lady-Antis in the next year as they scrape the bottom of the barrel for every vote they can finagle.

Consensus on this ?
