Brass or fiber glass rod won't damage a mazzel so no worries. Just don't use steel or stainless steel rod and you will be fine
That's my point. I want to run a cleaning rod thru from the chamber end as I normally would, but there's not enough room to get a cleaning rod started into the chamber.
It's to do with the barrel crown , you don't want to damage it , but you have that nice flash hider on there to protect it from damage , so , cleaning from the muzzle it not a issue .
Got mine today, after it toured Canada thanks to Canada Post!!
One thing I hadn't clued into, despite seeing many photos, is that there is no way to release the bolt from the right side - I think the lack of an ambi bolt release is a bot of a design oversight. Still, looking forward to trying it out.

The barrel and crown on my Scorpion is chrome lined to boot as well so I can't even imagine what you would have to do to damage it.
Where did you get the extra mags from and how much were they? 30rd?

IRG has them, not too sure if they are sold out or not now.
I'm waiting on my delivery of the manticore arms steel lipped mags from Wanstalls. If anything I would suggest getting these mags instead
Let us know how these work out. I'm curious to see if they're "double the price" good.

Being steel lipped they are more then worth it right there in my mind.
Having had a terrible experience with the FAMAE SAF 9mm mags I try and steer clear of mags like this now
A z t e c h only brought in clear mags. They would look horrible on the scorpion IMHO. Gonna wait for smoked ones
