CZ sp75-01 Shadow.

Damn... now i feel really bad for not coming yesterday to Semiahmoo. Is there gonna be IDPA training in Abby on sat or just casual plinking?

S&D practice can be directly applied to both IDPA and IPSC... some combat shooting as well. Many basic principals are exactly the same and that's what you build on.

Hey Slavex, had a great time today at Abby, you are one cool dude, you made this noob and my son feel very comfortable and I cant tell you how much I learned from you. Thanks to Cezer for hooking me up. That skills and drills is something that can be enjoyed by hard core guys and noobs too. Thanks again.......

Hey Invidion, I wish I could shoot like you did, you have put in some serious hours and it shows you are excellent!!!! That was a lot of fun and Slavex made it fun for all of us, no matter our experience. We are lucky to have him around. I'm joining the range in Abby so hope to see you again.

Can anyone direct me to where to purchase, and what to purchase regarding springs for the Shadow. I understand that for Production class IPSC you are allowed to order lighter factory springs to reduce the single action and dual action trigger pulls. A nice range officer was telling me all about it but the spring weights etc. have sprung right out of my head. I think we were talking about a recoil spring as well as some springs in the trigger mech.

I also would like to add the factory skinny aluminum grips.

Thanks,

#13 mainspring is probably what was suggested.

You can get this and the grips from guns'n'things. He is located in Blackie,AB
Great source for CZ parts and acc.

Thanks sir! Rob isn't over-exaggerating when he says that dry fire is a fantastic way to improve your shooting. If you can learn to enjoy it, the practice will pay out dividends when it comes to live fire, and will make the whole experience much more enjoyable once you've gotten past the awkwardness of holding onto a reciprocating explosive.

Rob is a wicked instructor. I owe more than a little of what I can do to him. The Abbotsford range is an absolute awesome place to shoot, especially with the installation of the new facilities.

How long would it take to order a CZ Restricted Firearm from Guns and Things from AB to ON?

Ordering won't take long - call and hand over credit card #, name, RPAL# and so on. It's that Ontario CFO office will drag their feet with transfer...

Yup Invidion, Abby is awesome, as soon as someone is available to take my $$$$ I'm in. You are too modest my friend you put the ohurs in but Rob is something special, he just has a way of teaching in such a relaxed butintense set of drills and he knew what EVERYONE was doing ALL THE TIME!!! thats amazing. I dont have any visions of me being just a casual shooter, I'm way too old to get as good as you my friend. I want to get one of those belts that Rob had, the velcro overbelt type thingy. I wonder if he had it custom made. I put me and my son on Rob's list today so I hope he has another S&D soon, I cant wait to pick his brains again.

I'v seen one in Dave military supplies in new west. Or you can always get if from the south of the border for little cheaper. Google for competition belt.

Try Reliable in Vanc as well. Those are factory made belts, they are CR Speed belts, you do want ONE size larger than your regular belt thou; to accomodate holster and mag pouches on outer belt. Double Alpha belt of similar design is just as good.
Mag pouches Slavex had were Double Alpha and I use CR Speed Versa.

Banja, you sure will enjoy IDPA matches we have on 1st Sun of the month in Chilliwack. Too bad, with rainy season coming, we'll be shooting indoor = less space and stages.
Pace is manageable, we get people of all ages and skill levels, and all are great.

I'll have to confirm if we are to practice this Wed.
