Step 1: admit you have a problem
Step 2: bed the stock so it doesn't crack
Nice walnut.
The gap in the new trigger guard is bugging the hell out of me from an aesthetic perspective.
I might not scope it. It's pretty handy and light and the sights are similar to my Lux 2--fast target acquisition.
If you do put a scope on it leupolds seem to fit this rifle very well.
I notice that yours does not have the "wings" on either side of the magazine well, just in front of the trigger guard.
My 2020 production 7.62x39 does. Do you know when yours was built? The year is stamped on the right side of the receiver.
That's odd.
You won't regret it. It's an all-around quality rifle that looks great and feels so handy.Really thinking hard about getting one of these.

In this round I liked the fixed sights just fine, work very well with any load I’ve tried milsurp, steel and brass case. Replaced with a skinner peep and I’m just as comfortable with it out to 150 as a scopes gun in good light
Just took a walk through the corn stubble, got a few shots off... NICE!! Shot the Barnaul and Hornady point-of-aim. The sights are great! I will definitely give this lovely walnut stock a coat of Schaftol oil to protect it better. Bluing is nice and deep. Just an attractive rifle. Keeper.
