Daniel Defence Torture Test

It's remarkable to me that people still think the AR15/M16 platform is sub par.

This despite military and police of the world who choose to deploy it everyday.

Yep, I have an H1 that has been on almost every rifle I've owned in the last 3 1/2 years. I kept it turned on for three years (mostly setting 7) to see if it's battery life met it's claims. No problems, it kept on chugging. I finally put a fresh battery in it. The rifles come and go, but I'll never sell the Aimpoint!
 
DD makes some nice BUIS and a nice Aimpoint Micro mount. I have them on one of my rifles.

That's it. I won't buy another AR unless it was factory-proof-test dropped from moving LAV and running over by one.

I think the Accupoint 1-4 would be the perfect scope if Aimpoint could fix how the reticle washes out in very bright light or in bright/dark light when the fibre optic is in the opposite light.

Another way to look at it is that after ten years (if not sooner) you will have to send it back to the factory to have the tritium replaced for a couple hundred bucks, whereas in that same ten years, you'll only have to replace one Lithium AA battery for $4 with the Aimpoint M4S :D

I think it's hilarious that it seemed that no matter where they went on the ranch, there was a steel target 50yd away... I have dreams like that sometimes!

Also, Vickers cracks me up, honestly who cares about his weight??
