In the past 6 months or so I've had restricted transfers processed and approved in Ontario within a week. I've ordered pistols on a Monday and received them in the mail a week later, with the paperwork usually arriving 2 or 3 days later. If a transfer takes more than 2 weeks after the paperwork is submitted, I would call and talk to one of the nice ladies there.
What makes the LTATT long in Ontario these days are clubs that sit on the paperwork for months in an attempt to "batch them up". You'll find out when you call the CFO and they have no record of your application. Then you complain to the club folks, and magically your LTATT is ready in a week because the club finally faxed the paperwork.
Anyway wequar, welcome. I live near your range (near Crystal Bay Carling area) but for some ridiculous reason drive all the way to the EOHC in Larose Forest for my shooting enjoyment. And a Kimber for your first pistol? I hate you already
