Dieamaco stripped lowers

How are these better than lower priced stripped lowers??
Seems a bit steep to me. Are they 7075 or some other stronger material than say the cheap one I got a few months back from NEA?
Are they produced by Colt Canada under a different name for a reason?

Colt Canada and Diemaco are the same thing. First they were called Diemaco, then became Colt Canada. They used Diemaco for the civilian lines for nostalgia.

A lower is a lower is a lower. Unless you want something specific to fit your tastes.

does it have to be CLP to darken them up? Or will any good gun oil darken them up?

I used G96 in a large ziplock and let it sit for a few weeks, looks to match my IUR.

Not sure why guys are soaking their lowers in oil for extended periods. I sprayed mine with LPS and it was instantly darkened. It's not a particularly porous surface so the oil does it's job very quickly.
