Dieamaco stripped lowers

Dude give it up already, Im not slagging anyone.
Read what you wrote. Of course you are, I even quoted you.

Korth Introduced these riffles at an incredibly high price.
Other than IOP, as that is a completely different area, name me one member of the public, they sold a rifle to.

Who did the public purchase these rifles from?

You don't seem to want to answer the questions I had, and I understand why, but I keep asking the same thing, how do you know what the business agreement was between all the parties?

Then Korth Drop the price even more.
Then Odell became the new distributor.
And as I already said, ask the retail stores what their cost is now, compared to previous.

So yeah speaking our minds dropped the prices to where it should have been in the first place.
So you think you, or this web site is that important to change business costs? Wow, you think highly of yourself, don't you. If you are that good, again I ask, how much did these rifles cost, and what should have the price been? And what is your expertise to state these numbers?

I'm not expecting an answer.

I asked Odell myself how many IUR were to be released and was told they are not willing to release the #'s.
It's none of your business and again proving that you have no idea what the business end of things is, do you....
Why don't you open up a distributorship, and then you can spend the money, and reveal to everyone what your business model and mark up is.

Well Ive seen the pricing that DND pays, so 300$ for those surplus tri-ads is a ripoff plain and simple.
So how does what the government pay for a product have anything to do with what an end user in the public business, pays? Please refer to what fenceline stated, supply and demand..

And this had nothing to do with those tri-ads. We were talking about the rifles, so what does that high retail cost, have anything to do with Colt Canada? Are you buying them from Colt Canada, or some retail outlet on here, or individual? Either way, is it Colt Canada that you are giving money to, and if not, why are you continuing to blame them.

Or again, is it you are entitled to a certain price, well just because????

time for me to go play with my stripped lowers and build my IUR... all this negativity is making me sad...
You are the one who started bad mouthing companies. Don't do it, it just makes you appear petty.

And then they wonder why companies don't want to talk to them on open forums.

Truth spoken brother.

We all have a stake at holding these malcontents to task. I like getting the opportunity to purchase stuff at reduced rates. I like getting information 1st hand.

These nay sayers just ruin it for everyone.

, Granted I got the stuff at IOP pricing, I still feel like they are ripping us off, but we got to pay to play...
So you obtained a reduced price than most, as a result of what work you do.

Just out of curiosity, did you thank anyone at Colt Canada for the reduced price? Or did you thank anyone at the business where you purchased the rifle, for them giving you the reduced price?

Did you complain about the reduced price to those same people?

Actually I did talk to Matt from C.C and asked a bunch of questions and he was very helpful. I also told him about how my IOP was handled and that I had a great experience with Korth. and thanked him for helping me out.

Odell has been excellent as well and my IOP thru them was also handled quickly and they were very helpful.

Why argue lol. I don't agree with you and vice versa. Nothing more to be said. I am privy to a little more info than the general public but it was told to me in good faith.

Also you don't need to know intimate numbers. If you feel you are getting ripped off you probably are. Look at the history of the civ sales. If that's not enough proof for you then nothing will be.

Anywho...golf clubs to clean.

That is good to hear. Hopefully the great experience was passed along to the folks who you gave your money to.

I was told that the IOP program is now only given by the individual retail stores?? And I was told that the retail stores didn't and won't sell at IOP pricing any longer. I can not confirm this.

I also hate this type of thread, but I've spoken with many retail business owners and they are very frustrated with the ill-informed comments on these pages. They don't want to appear petty either, so they don't want to come on here and answer to the baseless questions, as it is resource draining.

I think we all suffer, when the hard working businesses get ran through the coals. The gun industry/business in Canada is fragile to say the least, and I believe in supporting what little Canadian based industry, that we can.

Don't get me wrong, I have had some bad gun business experiences, the same as probably everyone. However, some of these comments are damaging to our sport and hobby and in the end everyone loses.

I can confirm that there's disinformation among the dealers themselves. I've been through the IOP program with a few dealers in recent weeks. Some stated that they simply don't offer any discount (while being on the CC thread IOP participating dealer list), others are saying that the IOP program rifles/carbines will come directly from the distributor & others are offering the discount from their own inventory.

I get the feeling that the IOP program is probably more headache for the provider than what it's worth.
And I've met a couple cops and a couple miltary members in my travels. To say that some guys can be "high maintanence" is being generous.

It may be more than a couple of weeks tho. At the rate the SA's, IUR uppers & misc are selling right now, we will probably hear an announcement at the end of August/early September.

I jumped and purchased 2 lowers because of the low #'s that were supposed to be released.

But according to the serial #'s they are more.

Ive purchased everything Colt Canada has release, Granted I got the stuff at IOP pricing, I still feel like they are ripping us off, but we got to pay to play...

I wouldn't put up with that!! You should protest sell one of those lowers to me for cost. That will show the capitalist swine who's boss!. EMT standing by....

All joking aside. I'll be waiting for the next release. Maybe it will be good and I either get lucky to get on it, or I can pick up crumbs from those looking to get rid of last weeks deal!
