This tells me you missed the whole Christensen Arms thread then.
No i did not miss it, i believe in freedom of spending for what you want at the price you want if it is in your mind, that is all... JP.

I just feel bad. Everyone works hard for thier money.
Just as you do Ryan. Don't sweat it, retailers are the last ones I think anyone would blame.
If I had to guess, either CC put the pressure on Korth to improve the pricing or CC is taking the hit on the reduced pricing because of the public lashing they've taken over this. Or maybe it is a little of both. I don't think Korth cares much about what the average end-user thinks of them but you can be damn sure the people at CC, many of whom are former CF themselves, sure do.
I just hope that after all of this CC doesn't say, "F this civilian sales nonsense". With so many whiny man-children, you'd have to be nuts to manufacture a black rifle in Canada and try and sell it to civilians.
Just an FYI, I didn't mean I wouldn't be selling Colt/Diemaco. I just meant to say that I wasn't aware there was going to be a price decrease and if I was I'd have waited to sell them. Colt Canada/Diemaco is an excellent product.
Anyone that bought one from me at full price, let me know when you place your next order and I'll knock 10% off.
On the up side, there is now a Mil/LE program and civilian pricing is now lower which means more people can own them.
If you don't own an AR, buy an AR...it doesn't matter what brand you buy first because you can't own just one![]()
I might get around to doing just that but I really don't care too much. (Not saying that to be a prick)
It's more for my curiosity than proving anything to others. I'm not hung up about it, if you want to believe they're ####ty rifles then okay. . I'm pretty comfortable on my side with military experience as well as military and industry experts.
Well I'll believe it when I see the targets with 5 shot 1 inch groups at 100 yards. Sorry for sounding like a #### but there's a whole lot of BS on this site.
As these are as close to Canadian issue C7's and C8's as the civilian market will ever get, there won't be a better Canadian made AR available that has the quality and real world testing backing it that these rifles have. A lot of people are annoyed about what most feel is an excessively high sticker price on these rifles (myself included), yet the fact is these are exceptionally well built AR's (think world class) with a back ground/history that can only be matched by the American made Colt M4 which is not even available to US citizens.
The quality control that go's into these Canadian made Colts is exceptional and when you consider the proven history of hard use (brutal abuse in many cases) that these rifles are capable of enduring day in and day out while still remaining accurate and reliable is priceless in a firearm; to know it's Canadian made is just another big bonus. If they had been made available for $1,500 they would be selling like hot cakes and everybody would be singing there praises and posting MOA groups all day long. They might not have all the bells and whistles of a KAC, but they have a proven history of being able to take any abuse and still keep performing exceptionally well that KAC can't match with respect to the same numbers fielded, all at a lesser price (even with the middle-man mark-up).
Can you bring personal weapons on PWT? I asked once, and was told otherwise. I guess every unit may be different...Just for fun I'm going to compare a new $850 nea15 against a c7. I'll do 100 & 500 meter ranges and the yearly qualification (pwt 3)shoot.
Would be interesting if others did similar shoots.
Does anyone know the Mil pricing and details?
It should not be a secret. Mil pricing should be known in public
If I buy one will I be an Operator?

Someone recently posted they brought their Norc 10.5in upper to work and blipped 30 rounds out on auto. My guess would be it’s probably a no-no, by the book, but some of the older guys used to do things differently.
