Do I really need a .375 H&H ?

Looks good, and at under 8 pounds sounds good too. Is the rear mount screw spacing .330? Almost a hint of a retro look with the rear sight upset. Check the cross-bolts for tightness, for some reason only known to Winchester they always seem to be loose when shipped.

Yes, .330 rear. I'll check the bolts...thanks for the tip!

OP's question: "Do I really need a .375 H&H ?"

Answer: Ask your wife. (and I'm betting that her answer is 'no')

lol.

Not an issue in my house :), the wife has her RPAL too and doesn't ask about my spending. I cover all the financial bases around here so she doesn't ask when another big package shows up...she's a happy camper, so life is drama free for me.

Yea, mine doesn't say much either when another long box shows up, she just shakes her head and rolls her eyes................

Same as mine. She's said so many times that they all look the same that I don't want to bore her by even mentioning it anymore. Much like me and her shoes or clothes; I just don't care.

Mine lives in the other house and has her own guns we get along great and she pays 50-50 on the trips knows how to use a gun and a knife. I was teaching her years ago self defence with a knife and after the leason i stepped around her and got the knife right threw my left hand . My buddy looked at me and said , Well she knows that move ok

Speaking of 375 rifles, I just got a call from a friend who thinks he needs two of them, and wanted to know where he could get a couple of BRNO 602s.

Talk about a blast from the past!

Very wise :) .. I did the same thing years ago and ended up with an 8x68s and .375H&H (both 602's) both out of Pragotrade when they handled them . Not for sale but certainly been pleased with them. Not sure why more guys didnt jump on them back then?!? or the other ZKK's for that matter - they all seem to shoot very well!

Good rifle but bigger than a H&H needs to be
The deluxe stock on the ZKK 602 also accentuates the size I think .. the standard stock has a more "classic" style and is livelier IMO. I have a Sako Mannlicher in .375H&H which is a much handier rifle in the heavy bush. But the longer barrel of the ZKK 602 is nice as are the iron sights and easily replaceable foresight (assuming you purchased some spares when they were available). Everyone mentions the safety but I have never had an issue with it .. course I have used safeties on C1, C7, Voere 2185, M305, Mausers, Mannlicher Schoenauers, Remington 7600's, tang safety shotguns etc etc pistols etc etc .. after a while I just assume they are different ... because usually they are.
