Don't take your Black Rifle to PoCo!

You got it backwards my friend..

The answer is to get every man jack who has an AR to DECEND UPONS POCO in DROVES!!!!

I want to see every shooting station manned by a MAN with an AR!! Toss in a few women and kids while you are at it!!

To do otherwise is to let the "hunter" types win!!!

X2
Don't let the fools get you down!

Use your AR every time you go.

"The best revenge is living well." - I'd say that includes using your AR regularly!

+1 Don't punish yourself and the range for the act of some ign'ant. You must make him see that you're not recklessy breaking the law (as he must've thought when he called) and that your shooting sport is just as noble as his. We need to unite shooters not create factions.

I think the idea of getting the exec to call the names on the sign-in sheet, or at the very least to post a memo re the fact that the range OBVIOUSLY wood not tolerate illegal firearms and that if someone has concerns to bring it up with the RO.

i just thought of something, we sould arrange an AR day at PoCo. plan a day and everyone with an AR can bring it just to prove a point. imagine that an entire firing line of AR's:runaway:

lol it would be great.

i'm in... just to cheese off the dumbass...

everytime i got to the range i have at least 1 ar and i always get asked what is it ..i let them handle it then all is good ..i cant wait to take my 9mm ar with 7.5 " barrel should get some looks grin and inform i say:D

I shoot AR's there constantly, it's almost the only thing I shoot. There's no shortage of other AR guys, either. I've heard a little BS from hunters once and a while, but never anything like this. Like others have said, I would have built a huge heap of brass blasting away after that one.

John's a good guy, it's not his or the range's fault, it's the fault of one tool at the range who wouldn't know his @ss from a hole in the ground. I hope you are reading this, you idiot.

Last time I was up there some hunter b#tch saw my 308 vsf and said to me in a stupid voice "I hope you're not thinking of hunting with that thing" (it's done up more like a pr rig, big leupold, sunshade, etc). I just brushed him off. However, every time someone fired a semi, I could see him wincing and looking around like he hadn't taken a cr@p in a year. He grumbled "mission is way better". So go there, idiot. Was sweet when we went to change targets and I saw that he was barely hitting minute of barn... *ha ha*

I belong to POCO and my AR "should" be complete by Nov.7th - I plan on visiting POCO frequently with it.

I'd have been furious if I was there and someone called the cops on me for no reason whatsoever except that he didn't like what I was shooting.

RO John should find out who it was and tear them a new one.

Nihili carborundum illigitimi

"Don't let the bastards grind you down"

Force the issue. Raise bloody hell at an executive meeting, make THEM speak clearly at a general meeting, plus a statement in a newsletter. Plaster the place with the posters available on this site ( the ones about all guns ending up banned , if semi-auto do)

Then have the club pony up some prizes for a black gun shoot!

FIGHT the bastards!

Cheers,
Ben

Like I said, there's already tons of black rifles shooting up there all the time. Wednesday nights are already black rifle nights, aren't they? (haven't been).

I'm guessing the chump who called is most likely a non-member hunter, as it's around that time of year when new guys come up to the range to fire their three shots in six hours, not to return until next year around this time. Any regular would have already seen dozens of ARs (or own one or two him/her-self). Nice to see the RCMP guy think for himself, btw.

Funny... if it were me I would have loaded up the mags and unloaded them downrange as fast as I could... again... and again... and again... until either I ran out of ammo or they all left.

Yup, that's what I would have done too. And I'd come back day after day and do it over and over.

F*CK the a$$hole that did that, and F*CK him/her if he/she thinks they could drive me away!

Go back, bring your AR, all your mags and a couple of crates of ammo and have at 'er! :D

Cheers!

This was a cowardly attack on a fellow PoCo club member by (I'm guessing here...) one of the older "hunters" that were also on the range today.QUOTE]

Nah, lots of Asians shoot there it was probably an " Asian ".

Do I sound like an #######? Same logic !

Who knows who the ####### was. Maybe it was John, after all he is a older
" hunter ".

Although I'm not a big time user of range 7 or whatever it is I do get up there a few times a year. Normally see some shooting semi auto pistols ( me and my kid included ) or hunting/sniper rifles ( me and my kid included ) or even some with evil black guns. Never once have I heard anyone trash talk someone else's gun.

No, maybe before you punish us all by staying away or bring a horde of AR shooters to terrorise the rest of us, you might think that you simply ran into an " A " Grade #######, and sorry Billy there are those in the world.

Forget the #######, come back and let me shoot your ' Machine Gun ' and I'll let you shoot my 'sniper rifle' or bust a few clays with the old 'scatter gun' if you prefer.

It is absolutely ludacris for gun owners to seperate themselves from other gun owners for ANY reason! This is the Canadian way unfortunately. Thsi is the same reason we can not unite under one Organization like the NRA in the States to protect our rights. This is how we are in our current predicament. Whoever called the cops on you should be completly ashamed and his type is why we cannot fight as one body. Disgusting!!!

Exactly the way to go. Gun ranges provide a safe, educated, legal, and professional place to enjoy shooting sports. Any member of a gun club who calls the police to encourage harrasement, fear, or discrmination against legal and responsible gun ownership should be ashamed of themself. The club should ensure it's members understand that this behavior would not be tolerated.

Well put...and yes, whoever called the police should indeed be ashamed of himself.

Now if you were acting like an idiot and the range officer failed to take control of the situation then calling the RCMP might have been a suitable measure. (Not likely the case)

No, not the case at all as anyone can attest who has either been to the range with me or shot in competition with me.

jjackman said:
Whatever the case, keep going to the range. All firearms owners need to learn to respect one another.

I'll have to really think about that one....it's not the first run-in that I've had with these old fools at PoCo, who don't seem to understand that they are attacking themselves...

Someone down there should organize a Black rifle shoot at Poco!

I'm starting to warm up to this idea....Being a manager, I couldn't organize a fart in a bean factory...:D . Anybody else want to get on board with this? If there's enough interest, we can plan on a group show of strength and unity with our "evil" Black Rifles.
I can see the old farts now...:runaway:

well thats f'##$g it! i've gone this long without owning an AR and this year i'm going to get one.
i'm a memeber at poco also and this just gets under my skin.just goes to show you how freaking retarded some people can be.

keep going to the range, don't let some piece of dirt put you off on that.

until then i'm just going to have to show up with my high mag capacity 5/20 m305s'.and my high capacity 5/30 sks D.at least if someones got something stupid to say to me i can always bounce some brass off their heads.that sks sure throws them
