Dumbass rant on Google, who is this idiot?

What the.. Hermes was my PAL/RPAL instructor. He taught me and my two friends (I'm white, they're both Chinese-Canadians so race is not a concern here (referring to the "asian skinhead" insult)) and Hermes was extremely polite and friendly with us. I've been to Reliable probably about 10 times this year and I haven't had a bad experience (as long as you don't count long lines, but I can't blame the store for that). Hermes has helped me a couple of times and even though he forgot about being my instructor (was early last year), he was still very polite with me, he even started talking to me about his recent long distance shooting in the interior showing me pictures on his phone. The other employees have all been very nice as well, some friendlier than others if I'm honest, but never rude. Any "Hello" I started with was always followed with a polite response.

I do NOT work at Reliable, nor am I friends with anyone who has anything to do with them but I have to assume the reviewer was the problem.

Itt: People defending bad customer service. Dude got treated poorly and made a review based on it. When I say "hello" Id expect a "hello" back not a "what do you want". If someone came in to buy a cell phone from me and I said "yes?" you can bet I wouldn't work there long. I have nothing against reliable but the amount of people jumping on this guy for sharing his multiple bad experiences is amazing.

I've had at least 100 transactions with the Iceman and he's never been anything but polite. Same goes with most of the other staff.

People are hardly defending bad customer service. They are sharing their postive first hand experiences with The Iceman and his colleagues.

It appears that Mr. Dimenna embelished the events to distract readers from the fact that he got all pissy about the store's policy.

And for the triggered snowflake in this thread that bolded his entire post (lol, reminds me of what's his nuts from that dealer that's not on CGN anymore), I too am fat and have bad vision.

All I was trying to do was trying to paint this image:

If you're fat and wear glasses, I'm sorry I offended you. If you're a liberal and you were offended, well....lolz!

Also, i give zero fuks whether I'm on your ignore list or not :)

Guys at reliable are good, I visited several times, it’s sort of east van so I don’t blame them for wanting to be sure whoever is “looking” is qualified to do so...

Nothing but good experiences shopping at reliable. The amount of people they see there I’m actually usually surprised when any of the guys there do remember me.

The worst part of shopping there is the lab walking around. Truly horrible. He just comes over and wants pats. I’ll be having a perfectly bad day and he comes over and instantly changes that! How dare their wellness dog be friendly and nice!

I knew what you meant lol. I seen her before

The "snowflake" mentality is that of people getting all in a knot over the opinions/comments of complete strangers and usually about the most trivial of topics. That very reaction is what warrants their labeling as a "snowflake". Life must be a real miserable experience for people who simply can't function without every comment being "sensitive" to THEIR feelings/beliefs. The reality these "snowflakes" are living is that they are offended by everything anyone or everyone says all the time. What makes that sweet is that they CHOSE TO BE OFFENDED which means their misery is their own fabrication....

But one cannot simply add a person to their Ignore List, they must announce it publicly so that we all know how much of a martyr they are.

Some of you people here have piss poor souls.

You point out the twig in other people's eyes while ignoring the beam in your own.

If you hate Liberals or conservatives you're also just brainwashed. They're two sides of the same coin, as anyone with half an education outside the school system would know in today's world.

Love your neighbor. Don't call them fat. Don't make fun of them where they cannot defend themselves.

TIC TOC TIC TOC, time is a coming as I used to be obese still over weight striving to be my former self with reading glasses { can be corrected with a simple operation}. I could not help myself you triggered me and will forgive the former self from insulting any individuals.

I go there just to see the dogger. Im such a snowflake. I once got left in the foyer at Italian Sporting Goods for a long minute. I was going to lose my ####e but ended up buying a shotgun. Weird.

how you all know what he experienced going in there? just because the iceman hermes is nice to everyone, doesn't mean he isn't a prick to this reviewer... maybe the reviewer wore tight pants and had a manbun that set off hermes? or maybe he had pants half down his butt and a gold grill and flava flav clock that hermes hates? everyone is free to voice their opinion no matter how goofy or stupid it sounds to anyone. he clearly hated his experience so has his right to voice his opinion, to make a thread about it is hilarious. I should make a thread about you making a thread about it and call it "dumbass rant on canadiangunnutz, who is this idiot?".

So...no negative reviews allowed with embelishment on it? I've never ever seen negative reviews in the interweb that has been embelished at all

I had always assumed the expectation was that the guy behind the gun counter was going to be a 'Clintonian' elitist.

Nose up in the air, strutting back and forth through a cloud of self-importance, like he thinks he's an electrician or something.. :)))

Good morning!

Can you imagine... Some magical alternate Universe, where after a stranger has failed to meet your “How are ya?” with “Fine, you?”... That you would have enough time in your day to sit down and write a complaint to share your woes and post them for the entirety of humanity to see. Furthermore, in this weird and wacky universe, you have nothing in your life more important... more pressing... more interesting, than writing and posting said complaint.

Can you even imagine such a place? I know I can’t.

This isn’t even a bicth against the guy. Just “google reviewers” in general. If a company has false advertising or is bait and switchy, sure, go ahead. But sooo many reviews are like the one above. Not worth the ones and zeroes they’re written on.

It is very sad that a person can't wright a bad reveiw about a product or vendor without running the risk of being belittled by the fan boys. I don't know what all of you guys do when you read reveiws about products or vendors , but I purposely look for the negative ones just to see what sort of problems they may have had. There really isn't much point in reading a bunch of positive reveiws as it doesn't take much thought to conclude that there probably isn't any information in those reveiws that is of any value . Other than the fact that the person who wrote was happy with the deal.
