E-111 Petition to Derestrict the AR15

Yeesh, didn't even break 25,000 sigs. You'd think with the CSSA, CCFR, NFA et al we'd be able to achieve a much higher count... I guess people are just too apathetic or pessimistic to care.

Should sticky it perhaps? And spread the word to the other Canadian online firearms community.

This says it all. Sad really. Signed a long time ago.

Also, the requirement on these petitions to allow your full name and residence is ludicrous.

Don't forget the ones that tucked their tail between there legs and sold all there restricteds

Signed and your so right Pitbull1973, people should be buying more restricted firearms not selling off what they have. However an even better thing to do is get more people interested in shooting and shooting handguns & restricted rifles like the AR in particular, because the more people with RPAL's the better for us all on this matter.

I've found taking people to the range in small groups works very well in making new shooters. Many have never shot a handgun or semi. auto. center-fire rifle before and find it to be a lot of fun when you teach them how to successfully hit what they're aiming for, especially important is to use firearms that are comfortable to shoot (not to powerful or heavy in other words).

Regardless we all have to work together for success on these matters. Also remember CGN is just a small fraction of the actual shooters in Canada so simple making others aware of CGN is another way to get people interested in our hobby/sport/lifestyle...

Cheers D
