EMT Only to Buy a Sporting Rifle?

Stick to gun shows and the Buy and Sell.
I can't rip on you too bad though, I still have never owned a cellular phone! I don't have any friends to talk to or text and anytime the wife or the kids phone me at home it's either to b$tch at me, b$tch about each other or they want something.;)
For realz though EMT is great.

So any seller has to buy at some point what would you do if the seller of a rifle you wanted didn't accept EMT payment?
 
Ok... Why are people talking about getting "set up" on emt?.... If you do your banking online you already have it... Really simple... At the end of the day, the reason folks want emt is because if you send one it's good... Unlike (FRAUD ALERT) or money orders there are no loopholes... You can cash the emt, the money is in your account and you can feel secure sending out the firearm...

If you are serious about selling or buying firearms here I suggest you get set up... Its just as easy as logging into the site and protects both buyer and seller...

Like I said in post 11 I need to go out of town as I'm not on line with the account I'd use but I know its not terribly hard to get set up and that its a great system guys, that isn't my point. I just don't get why a small minority in my estimation insist on EMT only. Ya ya convenience and all but I'd personally give anyone here a chance to buy a gun if I had EMT and they didn't. I just would.
 
Bottom line... I get a cheque I wait and ship... I get month I wait and ship... If I get emt I know its good and I ship right away... No confusion and no cheque clearing date where I have a buyer saying "where is my tracking number"... Very simple... If I want to buy a gun and it's month or cheque only and I want it bad enough I comply to terms... But it's a transaction I feel I have to babysit... And given the effort if I had same rifle in front of me by two sellers I's certainly lean to the emt friendly one...
 
I guess to resolve it, you'd really have to ask the specific seller if they would take another method of payment. For example ebay...ad may say seller will not ship to Canada. I ask anyway and 75% of the time they sold me the item.
 
Well I see the world's passed me on this one here, gotta check in more. lol. I've managed to buy two and sell one without EMT in the last yr and there's still lots of sellers that are flexible so no biggy till I get this world changing EMT. pht..

Pretty simple.


Last time I checked... Nobody had a gun to anyone's head over buying/selling anything on the EE.

Curiously, I've never seen EMT only on other smaller regional sites I go to. I guess nutz has reached such a mass you can sell stuff how ever you want now and the personal end of things is lost in the numbers. ..
 
Really... At the end of the day it's up to seller to dictate terms and up to buyer to decide if they wish to comply... It's really that simple... If you have no EMT capability then you lose out sometimes.. Either get it or you lose on a deal... That simple...

I've been away from this site for most of the last 7 yrs or so until recently.. I buy and sell most of my rifles elsewhere :) Plus I lost some info in the big crash of many moons ago. Hell in the old days I've had rifles shipped to me before the money arrived and done the same viseee verseeee. Time flies when you're having fun.

Then good on ya... Yopur trader rating is 100 percent... Not up to us to dictate your frequency... At thw end of the day a seller has the right to complete a transaction as easily as possible... No?

No. lol. Yeah of course they do they can ask to trade it for 49 virgins its their gun. They'll only make a few of us grumpy ####ers mad if they demand EMT that's all.

Thanks guys I appreciate the feed back for real I didn't realise how far the emoney tidal wave has gone in places.
