Enfields

I have seen a few of the .22 trainers lately and can understand why they would make a .22 for training purposes.Bt have just come across a .410 model.Anyone knoe what the story would be behind it?

.410 shotguns were for Indian prison guards.

Or so I have been led to believe.

And just so ya know, they DO NOT use modern .410 ammo, but effectively a straight-walled .303 case (shorter).

Don't go blowin' yerself up!

Cheers,

Neal

I have a No.1 Mk111 enfield by BSA Never has been to India or Ishapore. It uses 21/2 " .410 shells. I beleive that only the Ishapore conversions used the stretched .303 brass that were converted to shot. Mine was converted in Britain.

enfields

Going through the rifles trying to decide what to take to the Calgary gunshow. Might let a few enfields go - and a couple Garands and a SAFN. After setting them out, I thought it would be a nice pic. No, I'm not selling all of these.
