Before anyone screams at me for a bubba'd Enfield..with the exception of the flash hider being removed (the owner had a sleeve machined to go on the muzzle, it wasn't cut) and the custom stock, she's still original.
I refinished it for him. What a great bush rifle.
My Fazarkerly No4 Mk1. Made in 1948, all matching (even the stock, this was never bubba'd) with the exception of the barrel. Either way, it shoots exceptionally well. Notice the No9 Mk1 Bayonet... courtesy of E-Bay.
All original, matching numbers all around. My departed father bought it from Dante in Montreal in 1973. I still have the original receipt. It has taken many a deer over the years.
heres my first and favorite rifle. its a '43 No.4 Mk.1/2 made at the Fazakerly factory. FTR'ed in 51. i was suprised when i found out that all the numbers match, even after re-furbishing, is this normal? i'd like to think it saw action either in europe with the british or maybe korea with a UN force? the bottom of the magazine is marked "The Modern Gunshop - Toronto"
the stock looks to be beech. i'd like to try refinish it someday soon giving it an application of danish oil or something to bring out the true depth of grain.
