I agree because technically with this and the current laws of open carrying of a non-restricted you could get one of those drop leg holsters, leave the 3 shells in your pocket, and carry it down the street with you, drive with it, etc. It wouldent be concealed and being non-restric it would all be legal within the eyes of the law. .

Pretty far fetched....You can already do this with "regular" shotguns, but nobody does it.

I don't see hordes of short shotty owners strutting thier stuff down Broadway any time soon.:)

I wonder if Norinco will build a version? :D
Now that's the best thing I've heard all day.

Marstar, get on the phone with China, toute suite SVP.

Just to be an ass I'll say that posting vid of it being shot like a handgun might not help it stay unrestricted ;)

Even then I can just see the ATC questionare reading the form...
Q) What caliber are you using?
A) .70+ cal slug.

Bwahaha :D

Sent a request for a quote on a custom build, but no reply. I guess Dlask is very busy now. Rem 870 with 6.5" barrel, ported, muzzle break, ghost sight and magazine fed. That would be sweet! :D

Update: Finally connected and ordered the standard 8.5" model (yeah, no 6.5" barrels yet). Will have to do the mod's myself I guess. Can't wait until it comes in the mail!

No 6.5" barrels are in the works at the moment... might happen in future; might not. I spoke to Jo on the phone about this Monday.

That is a very good point actually.

Upon reflection and discussion with one more knowledgeable, I have removed the videos in order to avoid any potential backlash or negative publicity wrt the shotgun being considered/mistaken for something it is not. There may be inaccurate perception by those who would want to see this tool banned.

I was testing it to see how the recoil compared other guns I have used, I certainly wasn't trying to promote that shooting stance as the best, preferred or only way to shoot the gun.

That said, the more I shoot the gun the more awesome I think it is!

Cheers

Ike , good plan now if some of the others would follow your lead and drop the CCW commentary and carrying it on the hip around town the future looks bright . If the powers believe that we're looking upon this as an excellent , remote area bear medicine there probably won't be a problem . If the powers read this forum and see that several are talking about carrying in a fanny pack in town with ammo handy , carrying concealed or using it for thier CCW gun , we're one ruling away from restriction or prohabition before the gun is even on the market .

Your video demonstrated that while possible, it is not a practical method to shoot the gun. Two hands in the more or less standard position are still the only effective manual of arms.
