Dreaming of this year's bear hunt....wondering what firearm and caliber everyone will be using this year for yogi? And why?

My no.4 Enfield or my 870 with a rifled barrel, I’ve been mulling over using an sks and SST’s that I’ve got shooting decent 100y groups with irons.

If I’m looking for an old friend I’ll use my 30-06. If I feel like an adventure, I’ll use the 375. My BIL now has a 308 that lives in my safe, so if he shows up I still have a choice of mine to use.

Sometimes we just cant get close to the big boys, so 270 gr barns at 3200fps closes the distance, with plenty of punch left over for fuzzy wuzzy..
