I never like the picture icon on anything, I refuse to buy gauges for my cars or bikes with them on, or metric either! I love english!!!! I would only have safe-fire-etc. on any of my gun selectors! icons are to yuppy for me!
If a person doesn't know what the difference between "Safe or Fire" means
they should go buy golf clubs or something!

I'd like to buy one of these but wouldn't be willing to spend a lot of dough on a gun that doesn't reflect my tastes. That includes the zombie stuff, the bar code or the HK labels. Zombie fads come and go; bar codes - I don't get it; and this isn't an HK. I'm a proud Canadian and love the maple leaf. I like the idea of tastefully incorporating CGN somewhere on the gun. I want it to hold it's resale value, so user names are a no-go for me. BORING - FUN - NUTZ on the fire selector would make me chuckle and think of CGN every time I saw it but I know that's not everyone's cup of tea.

You're never going to please everyone so in this case, if I have to flex, it would come down to manufacturer and price. A quality lower is a quality lower but a so-so lower that I hate to look at....well, you'd have to count me out.
 
Guys, I see where this is going. We already had a thread about choosing a design. Version 2.0 IS the design that was CHOSEN by most CNGers who wanted a custom lower. Therefore there will be no modifications to that design. We can't please eveyone.

If someone wants to redo the work and again submit multiple designs, redo multiple polls, ask for GT's guide line, etc, go for it. But I'm done. As I mentioned earlier, we could argue 'till the next iceage and wouldn't come up with a lower that would please all. We have to stop somewhere.

So vote for #1 or #2 only if you're interested by the actual design. If not, ask to close this poll and start a fresh one with designs you think people will like better.
 
I got into this recently, is the purpose to get the AR's off the restricted list?
or just to suppy a frame for building on?
what would the price est. be?
I do like the design except the euro looking selector markings.
I would consiter 1 or 2 if they just said "FIRE"-"SAFE" or "BURST" or "AUTO"
I really hate those things on anything ( no offence on your work) I'm old school & I really believe down the road they'll be know as those
"stupid Canadian lowers" through out the world! I'dd suggest sticking with whats always worked for all concerned. your idea is a really great one though!
P.S. were they flat top or handle type? I can't find the pics. they must of got lost or deleted in my files.
 
i want. The the selector switch to say something like:

1. NO BANG, BANG and NEUTERED
2. SAFE, TROLL and ZOMBIES
3. NO WORKIE, CONSERVE and LIEBERAL
etc.
 
I quite like the HK markings. I don't want restricted to anyone on it. ARs shouldn't be restricted in the first place.

I want serial # 007 too. :p
