Steeleco is correct , I am Aboriginal and we teach the young to honour the great bird and the only way one gets and Eagle Feather is to earn it ,and it is an honor to have and mostly used in talking circles , The creator would certainly frown upon any man taking the life of one of his messenger's , And if he is Native and is killing the sacred bird
then he is a disgrace to the Native people and their culture, he would be what we call and apple Indian red on the outside white on the inside cause he clearly lost his way and is doing it for personal gain (money) .hope he rots in hell.
Wow.. Some people wonder why first Nation people are hated/disliked. These type of sayings are very ignorant.
That's like me assuming because of your status your probly on welfare, ####ty house, 10 kids you can't afford, and more then likely hammered right now.
White people havn't "lost their way" same as how First Nation people arn't all fall downs. I have many friends that are indeed First Nations and have been invited many times to the Reserve. Most of them are the upmost polite, respectful, insightful, dignet people you could ever meet.
Perhaps if we loose the stupid terms for eachother, we could build something between everyone.
As for the low life poacher, I hope they nail him to the wall.
