The bottom end IMO should be the Bushnell Elite series that was made in partnership with Bausch and Lomb.
Best to purchase something with an expectation of relatively long and uninterrupted usage, that will not pull the eyeballs right out of your sockets. lol

my two bits....

Bushnell bought B&L yes, but there elite line up is not in the same league, hell it's not even the same game as the B&L tactical. B&L made IMO one of the best fix 10x if you can find one.

Notice I never even once compared it to the B&L Tactical. Realign your radar live4therut. The OP stated he was looking for a scope on a budget & I gave my lowest possible recommendation.
Myself I have a NF NXS 12-42 on top of my long range rifle. But that's just me.

Official optic of the m25 weapon system

Not a clone by any means but accomplished what I wanted to. LRB with B&L

Goddammit I love this project, perfect place for a fixed 10x to sit.

I've wanted to do a fixed 10x build, something intriguing about estimating range and using your reticle for a holdover shot. Something different to practice!

My radar is in no need of realignment, it's perfectly fine the way it is.

Thanks!

The B&L has 144moa of adjustment I highly doubt you'll be a situation where a hold over shot is needed.

Cheers

I'd like to see one of the hunting / tac shops bring in the SWFA SS 10X. It lists for $299.00 US currency and it has great reviews on youtube. I don't see anything out there that can match the price point.

Have one of the Bushnell's. Had it on a .243 for varminting. Limits close shots severely(irrelevant for target shooting. of course) and it's a long sob. Good scope, but mine is 40ish years old and Bushnell's QC isn't what it used to be.

The current build I have has a 4-16 on it, which is doing well, but the fixed 10 power is something that interests me that I haven't seen a lot of. Also as mentioned if I do decide to go through with this and update my current rig, the majority of the money will be put towards a AICS, and I think most of the scopes at the lower price point scopes are all second focal plane, which I would like to stay away from.

I have a Weaver Tactical 3-15 X 50 30MM tube with side adjustable parallax, it is a first focal plane. They are very sturdy and are priced about $800.00.
