^^^ Where you get that cheek pad / pouch ?
The bottom end IMO should be the Bushnell Elite series that was made in partnership with Bausch and Lomb.
Best to purchase something with an expectation of relatively long and uninterrupted usage, that will not pull the eyeballs right out of your sockets. lol

Bushnell bought B&L yes, but there elite line up is not in the same league, hell it's not even the same game as the B&L tactical. B&L made IMO one of the best fix 10x if you can find one.
Notice I never even once compared it to the B&L Tactical. Realign your radar live4therut. The OP stated he was looking for a scope on a budget & I gave my lowest possible recommendation.
Myself I have a NF NXS 12-42 on top of my long range rifle. But that's just me.

Goddammit I love this project, perfect place for a fixed 10x to sit.
I've wanted to do a fixed 10x build, something intriguing about estimating range and using your reticle for a holdover shot. Something different to practice!
Thanks tips
The current build I have has a 4-16 on it, which is doing well, but the fixed 10 power is something that interests me that I haven't seen a lot of. Also as mentioned if I do decide to go through with this and update my current rig, the majority of the money will be put towards a AICS, and I think most of the scopes at the lower price point scopes are all second focal plane, which I would like to stay away from.
Bausch & Lomb fixed 10x in the EE right now.
