You may also want to try rat traps. I recently used them in. Back yard where they were causing major issues with gardens, lawn, and wiring in the shed. Zip tie vertically to trees under branch cover to ensure birds are not caught. Little peanut butter and two weeks and thirty squirrels later problem solved![]()


If you live trap a squirrel take him for a drive and drop him off at the house of somebody you don't like.

I've got a Crosman Phantom in .22 that I use on the squirrels that get up on my deck, I use the FVSR if they're in the yard. The little buggers chew the crap out of everything, I had them in the garage. My place is usually a squirrel free zone, but they are coming on pretty strong this spring. Wasted 10 of the little buggers so far this spring.

Tube Trap Update - 3 tree rats so far (2 grey, 1 black). The trap is a bugger to set right as you have to have the pan release right on the edge of the trigger, otherwise I'm just feeding them. Peanut butter works great, they can't resist.
